Your site’s dashboard
Track orders, invoices, stock, bookings and reviews from any browser, even without TOWeb.
What is it?
Your site’s dashboard is its online administration. It is installed on your hosting along with the site: you open it from any browser (computer, tablet or phone), without needing TOWeb at hand.
It activates itself as soon as your site has something to manage: an active payment method, bookings, comments or reviews, downloadable products, customer accounts, newsletter sign-ups.
What you do there
- track your orders, with statistics and filters, and change their status (the customer is notified by email), for example mark an order paid by bank transfer as “paid”;
- issue invoices;
- export orders in CSV format;
- manage stock in real time;
- track bookings;
- moderate blog comments and product reviews;
- manage downloads of digital products;
- export the list of your newsletter subscribers as a CSV file.
Logging in for the first time
- Publish your site (see Publishing to your web host).
- On the Publish screen, a Dashboard first sign-in code is displayed.
- Click Open the dashboard (the address is your site’s address followed by /iserv/admin/).
- Enter the code, then choose your administrator password.
- Back in TOWeb, click I’ve set my password.
The code is also on your hosting
The first-login code is also saved in your site’s iserv/admin/data/SETUP-CODE.txt file. It can only be used once, to set your password.
Try it on your computer
The local test also installs a test dashboard, with its own code: perfect for discovering the dashboard before going live. See Testing your site before publishing it.
From TOWeb
Once the site is published, the Dashboard button on the Project screen opens it directly in TOWeb. It stays greyed out as long as your site is not published, or none of its features needs it: hover over it to find out why.
