Create and organise your pages
Add a page from a template, rename it, place it under another, duplicate it or protect it.
Creating a page
- Open Pages in the sidebar.
- Click Create page.
- Choose a starting point: Blank page, Start from an existing page, or a ready-to-fill template (Home, About, Services, Contact, Portfolio, FAQ, Pricing, Team, Restaurant menu, Legal notice…).
- Enter the page Title. The File name (the end of its address) fills in by itself.
- If needed, choose a Parent page to place it under another, then confirm.
Would you rather start from a description? The Generate a page button writes an entire page with AI: see Writing with AI.
Moving from one page to another
At the top of the Pages screen, the page selector lists all your pages, with a search. It also offers Duplicate page, Delete page and Set as homepage. The arrow to its left goes back to the previous page.
A page’s settings
In the right-hand panel, the Page tab brings together:
- Published: an unpublished page stays visible in the preview, but is neither put online nor added to the menu;
- Access: Password-protect this page for a restricted page. Its content is never published in plain text, and it is removed from the site map and from search;
- Former addresses of this page: if the page replaces one from an old site, paste its old address; visitors and search engines will be redirected here.
The SEO tab sets the title and description seen by search engines: see Search engine optimisation.
Protected page
Password protection works on the published site, with a host that supports PHP. In the TOWeb preview, the page is shown without a password.
