Claude Desktop
Connect the Claude desktop app to TOWeb in one click.
To install it: download Claude Desktop from Anthropic’s official website.
Connecting Claude Desktop
- In TOWeb Settings › AI, click Add to Claude Desktop. TOWeb writes Claude’s configuration and keeps a copy of the previous one.
- Quit Claude completely: closing its window is not enough. On Mac, press ⌘Q in Claude; on Windows, right-click the Claude icon near the clock, then Quit.
- Start Claude again and open a new conversation.
Checking
In TOWeb, the button shows Connected to Claude Desktop.
Good to know
- On the first action, Claude asks permission to use TOWeb’s tools: choose Always allow.
- Depending on your version of Claude, Always allow only applies to the current conversation: do it again once in each new conversation.
- Claude’s free plan is enough to connect TOWeb and try it out, but its quota often runs out before a site is finished: you then have to wait several hours to continue.
- The version of Claude installed from the Microsoft Store is supported by the button.
