What the assistant can do, and what it doesn’t

Publication always subject to your consent, changes that can be undone, access limited to your sites.

It works in TOWeb just like you

The assistant uses TOWeb’s features: pages, text, images, styles, shop, bookings, blog, documentation, translations and site settings. Everything it creates can then be adjusted in TOWeb, by hand or by asking it.

It only publishes with your consent

When the assistant wants to put a site online, TOWeb asks you to confirm: Publish or Decline. Without an answer within 10 minutes, or if TOWeb is not open on that site, nothing is published.

For a test or demo site only, the Publish › Advanced options screen offers Let the AI assistant publish this site without asking me.

Everything can be undone

Every change made by the assistant is recorded in TOWeb’s history. With TOWeb open, you undo it just like your own, with ⌘Z on Mac or Ctrl+Z on Windows. You can also ask the assistant to undo. See History and backups.

It only has access to your sites

Through TOWeb, the assistant only reaches your TOWeb sites, and only when Allow AI assistants is turned on. Turn the switch off, and no assistant can act in TOWeb any more.

The assistant cannot delete a site.

What else the assistant can do on your computer (read files, control the screen, search the web) depends on its own settings, not on TOWeb. The instruction “only the tools of the toweb server” keeps it on your site.

Your requests, and the content of your sites that the assistant reads, go through the assistant’s service, under the terms of your account with it. With LM Studio, everything stays on your computer.
