What's New in TOWeb 14

This new TOWeb button  allows you to create content within your topics using artificial intelligence. Available when creating a new paragraph or hovering over an existing one, it lets you submit a request to the TOWeb's AI agent and generate the content you want where you want it on your site.
Using the AI features in TOWeb 14 requires an internet connection.

A mega menu allows you to display an image with a title and text, as well as lists of links presented in different columns. Adding and modifying a mega menu is done from the main menu management window of your site, now accessible at any time via the shortcut CTRL + M.
You can define a first column (optional) containing a presentation (i.e., title + image + text) followed by lists of links in columns. Each column can be given a name representing its category (for example brand or type if containing links to products).
The display styles of mega menus are customizable in the CSS editor under the "Menu" tab, allowing you to customize the main colors, column widths, and spacing. You can have multiple mega menus on your site.

When adding at least two photos to a paragraph, you now have the option to use the new Comparison view that displays your two first images superimposed, with a horizontally slider marker in the center for easy comparison between your two pictures.
This is ideal whenever your you want to display before-and-after photos like for instance during renovations/home staging, for new haircuts/makeup, etc.

From the Countries tab of the E-Commerce > Payment Modes screen, you can now select the countries in which each payment method will be offered. For example, you can offer the option to pay by check only to customers of your country, or offer Stripe payments instead of PayPal (or vice versa) for certain countries depending on which offers the most advantageous commission rates for you.

A new button, located next to the search button in the TOWeb toolbar, allows you to replace one or more words with others in the section(s) of your choice. The replacements are applied to the following text information:
- in section titles
- in paragraph titles and text
- in all product titles and text within a catalog, as well as on all pages of an album.
This replacement function in a page or throughout your entire site will be particularly useful, for example, when you want to correct recurring spelling mistakes all at once, when changing terminology or modifying a product or service name, etc.

In addition to the site's main menu, it is now possible to add a "secondary menu" accessible via a sidebar button displayed on every page of your site. This allows you to open a second list of links in full screen or side view. Its activation and configuration (opening, colors, link list, ...) can be accessed from the Options > Website Navigation screen.

TOWeb 14 analyzes your internet domain and server configuration to detect any issues or deficiencies that could negatively impact your website's ranking on Google and other search engines. Accessible from the Domain Name Configuration optimization section within the Publish > Website Optimizer step, you'll find all detected problems along with advice on how to resolve them and improve your site's SEO.
Furthermore, the HTML and CSS code have been optimized to accelerate loading and display times in web browsers.
With these improvements, TOWeb 14 makes your site faster and ranks higher, helping you gain visibility and provide a better user experience.

You can choose to allow or block AI bots from using your site's content (allowed by default, you can disable this option in the "Options > Errors & Rules" screen).
New meta tags can also be added to your site's pages to be recognized by AI agents. These are accessible via the <head> section and other meta tags button located in the Search Engine Optimization options of each topic.

All topics within a blog post or article can now be sorted chronologically or reverse chronologically using the new button  that appears when you hover over a grouped topic.
If you make a mistake with a topic's date, you can also change it using the button  next to it before reapplying a new date sort. You can also still manually change the order of grouped topics from your site's menu settings CTRL + M.

A TOWeb 14 URL containing a bookmark (e.g., mysite.com/mypage.html#bookmark) now allows:
- the destination paragraph's content to be automatically expanded if it is collapsed,
- the tab's content to be activated and displayed when the paragraph is contained within a tab,
- and for sections using a table of contents, each link now systematically performs a brief vertical scrolling animation (instead of a sudden movement) to clearly show visitors that the navigation is taking place within the same page.

The new publishing module incorporates major advancements to protect your data.
