Free update for TOWeb 14 users. Your product pages automatically switch to Google rich snippets (stars, price, stock) from your next publication, with no setup.
The problem you can't see
Try a test now. Type the name of one of your products into Google. If you're on the first page, look at what your competitors display:
- Review stars under their link
- Price displayed right in the SERP
- “In stock” or “More than 10 available” in green
- Small image of the product next to the title
And your listing? Probably just a blue link + a grey description. Indistinguishable from the other 9 results on the page.
This is what SEO experts call rich snippets. They are the visual enhancements Google displays only when your site speaks to it properly, in a language called JSON-LD schema.org. If your site is silent, Google shows only the bare minimum.
TOWeb 14.05 breaks this silence, automatically, on every product page in your catalogues. No box to tick, no file to edit. You publish, Google sees.
Why it matters (and why it's urgent)
According to Google Search Central, a product with a rich snippet attracts on average 15 to 30% more clicks than a product without one, at the same position in the SERP. On an e-commerce site that receives 1,000 visitors a month from Google, that's 150 to 300 extra free visitors every month. No advertising, no budget, without changing a single comma in your catalogue.
Better still: Google now treats rich snippets as a quality signal in its ranking algorithm. A product without structured data is gradually demoted in favour of competitors that have it. The SEO gap widens month after month.
That's why all the major e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop, Magento) have emitted this structured data as standard for years. TOWeb joins them in 14.05 — and the catch-up applies retroactively to your entire existing catalogue.
How Google “sees” your product pages in 2026
For a human, a product page is a title, a description, photos, a price and an “Add to cart” button. For Google, it's also an HTML file — but the search engine doesn't guess that a given number on the page is a price, a given sentence is a description, or a given image is the main product.
The JSON-LD schema.org standard solves this problem. In practice, it's a small invisible block in the <head> of each page that tells Google explicitly:
“This page is a product. It's called "X". It costs €49.90. It's in stock. Here is its SKU. Here is its main image. Here is its brand.”
Google reads this block, understands it instantly and activates rich snippets on your link in the SERP. It's also this block that Google Merchant Center reads to list you in Google Shopping (an optional next step, outside the scope of this article).
Before TOWeb 14.05: this block did not exist in the generated pages. Your products were invisible to Google in the technical sense of the word.
With TOWeb 14.05: the block is generated automatically on every product page at publication time. No template to choose, no field to fill in.
What TOWeb 14.05 does automatically, product page by product page
Each time a site with a catalogue is published, TOWeb extracts the information you have already entered in your product pages and emits a complete JSON-LD block compliant with schema.org/Product. Here is what is filled in:

Once your site has been republished with TOWeb 14.05:
- Open the Google Rich Results Test in your browser
- Paste the URL of one of your product pages
- Click Test URL
Expected result: ✅ “Page is eligible for Product rich results” with a preview of the rich snippet as Google will display it in the SERPs.
It's the official Google tool — the same validation used by professional SEOs and by the developers of the leading e-commerce platforms. If your product page passes this test, you know Google will read it correctly.
The argument nobody calculates
Let's run the numbers for a concrete case. You have a TOWeb catalogue of 100 products. According to Google Analytics, your site receives 1,000 Google visitors a month. Average conversion rate of a French e-commerce site: 2%. Average basket: €45.
ScenarioGoogle visitors / monthSales / monthRevenue / monthRevenue / yearWithout rich snippets (TOWeb 13-)1,00020€900€10,800With rich snippets (TOWeb 14.05)1,200 *(+20%)*24€1,080€12,960Difference+200+4+€180+€2,160+€2,160 in annual revenue in a modest case, simply because your product pages become visible. With a catalogue of 500 products or a site that receives 5,000 Google visitors a month, the difference easily exceeds €10,000 a year.

Special cases handled automatically
Product on quotation (no fixed price): TOWeb does not emit the offers.price block, but the rest of the JSON-LD remains valid. Google shows the snippet without the price, with no error.
Product with variants (size, colour): version 14.05 emits the main product. Full support for variants (ProductGroup + hasVariant) is planned for V14.06.
Out-of-stock product: OutOfStock is emitted explicitly. Google may then choose to demote your product page in e-commerce SERPs — which is actually good for you (visitors go to products you can sell, not to dead ends).
Power user who already has a manual JSON-LD in the site's custom HEAD: TOWeb detects an existing application/ld+json block and does not emit its own, to avoid conflicts. You stay in control.
For users still on TOWeb 13 or earlier
If you have an e-commerce catalogue and are on TOWeb 13 (or older), your site emits no Product structured data. In practice:
- Your product pages are invisible to Google rich snippets
- You are demoted in e-commerce SERPs against competitors who have enabled structured data (the majority today)
- You cannot be listed in Google Shopping without complex manual configuration
- You lose 15 to 30% of potential Google traffic on your products
Upgrading to TOWeb 14 fixes all this automatically and retroactively across your entire existing catalogue. No re-entry, no migration, no file to edit. You install TOWeb 14, open your existing site and publish. Google sees the difference within 24 to 72 hours (the time it takes to re-crawl your pages).
For a catalogue of more than 50 active products, the upgrade typically pays for itself in less than 2 months from the Google traffic gain alone — not counting TOWeb 14's other new features (GDPR 2026-compliant cookie banner, assisted integration of legal documents, Google Consent Mode v2 support, privacy page generation, etc.).
How to get it
You're already on TOWeb 14 (14.00 to 14.04): the update to 14.05 is free. Download the latest version, republish your site, and you're done. Google will see the rich snippets enabled within 24-72h.
You're on TOWeb 13 or earlier: automatic Product JSON-LD generation does not exist in your version. It's one of the quickest-paying reasons to upgrade to TOWeb 14.
You're new to TOWeb: the Product JSON-LD feature is available in the Pro, Business and Studio editions (the editions that support e-commerce catalogues). It requires no configuration, no plugin and no extra data entry.
In summary
Your catalogue's SEO has never been closer to a no-brainer. Update, republish, done.
