TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.22
October 25, 2026
Improvements
- Menu: a shop collection is added to the menu in one click, under “Collections not in the menu”, then dragged wherever you want, including into a group. A group carried over from TOWeb 14 can now take a collection created later.
- Sections: “Content width” (narrow, normal, wide, full width) is set in a section’s panel, for tighter text or a wider gallery. Republish the site to benefit.
- Sections: “Full screen” is set in a section’s panel, to open the home page on a large image or video that fills the whole screen, as in the demos. On mobile, the section fits the visible part of the screen. Republish the site to benefit.
- Help › Report a Problem: a backup from an older version of TOWeb (.wga) can be sent to support from the form, with the link “Send a backup from an older version of TOWeb (.wga) instead…”, even when the import succeeded. No file transfer service needed any more.
- Bookings: “sub-resources” are now called “bookable units” (rooms, courts, tables…), with the “Add bookable unit” button.
Fixes
- Footer: a link to a product, a blog post or a page, chosen in the link picker, now leads to its target on the published site. It led nowhere. Republish the site to benefit.
- FTPS publishing: a server that sends its certificate without the intermediate certificate (o2switch in particular) no longer blocks publishing with “unable to verify the first certificate”. TOWeb fetches the missing certificate, like a browser, and the connection stays verified.
- Publishing over FTPS: a certificate TOWeb cannot verify (shared hosting whose certificate carries the name of the host’s server, or an antivirus that scans encrypted connections) no longer blocks publishing with no way out. TOWeb shows the certificate and the problem, and you can trust it once: it is remembered for this server, renewals included, and any other certificate is still refused. Nothing is sent to the server before you answer.
- Carousel: “Autoplay” works even when the site’s “Entrance animations” are turned off (Style › Effects). The carousel stayed still. It still stops if the visitor asked for less motion or pauses the page. Republish the site to benefit.
- Check the site: a file referenced in an “Embed” block or in custom code, which you uploaded yourself to your host (for example a _fields folder carried over from TOWeb 14), is no longer listed as “Missing files”. It is checked online, like an external link.
- Team block: on mobile, the photo of a member who has a link shows again. It disappeared, while the name and social links stayed visible. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shipping: a weight that falls between two tiers entered with a gap (for example “0 to 18 kg”, then “19 to 47 kg”) now takes the next tier. It took the last tier, often “free”. Republish the site to benefit.
- Theme › Styles: the list keeps its order when you choose a style. The chosen style used to jump to the top on every click, which made it impossible to go through them. The arrow keys also move through the list, applying each style as you go.
- Installing on Windows: if you choose an installation folder that already holds your files, TOWeb installs into a subfolder of its own. Uninstalling can never delete your files.
- Bookings: the “cancel” link in emails opens a page asking for confirmation, and only its button cancels. Email antivirus scanners, which open the links of incoming emails, cancelled the customer’s booking as soon as the confirmation arrived. Republish the site to benefit.
- Analytics: a Google Analytics, Tag Manager or Meta Pixel ID that does not have the expected format is no longer inserted into the published site. A malformed ID could make code run there. Republish the site to benefit.
- Payment: notifications from PayPal, PayPlug and Mercado Pago are now handled like those of other providers. A notification that could not be recorded was lost (PayPal), and a notification arriving out of order made the provider disable the notification endpoint (PayPlug, Mercado Pago). With Braintree, the notification endpoint can finally be registered in the dashboard. Republish the site to benefit.
- SEO: the site’s robots.txt asks search engines not to index the management area and internal files (/iserv/). Republish the site to benefit.
- Site backups and copies: the archive always starts from the latest version, including what you were typing. A backup made right after a change could miss it, including the one sent to support.
- Pages: a page or its translation can no longer take the checkout address (“checkout”), the address of the shop, the blog or the documentation, or the code of one of the site’s languages (“en”, “de”…). It overwrote that part of the published site.
- Multilingual shop: the product feed for Google Merchant Center and the site’s service worker are those of the primary language. The last secondary language replaced them (a French and German shop submitted its feed in German). Republish the site to benefit.
- Bookings and reviews: an apostrophe in a name or text (“O’Brien”, “I’m”) now shows correctly in the email to the merchant and in published reviews, instead of “'”. Republish the site to benefit.
- Map: Google Maps’ “Satellite” view now shows on the published site. The site always showed the map. You choose between “Map” and “Satellite” (with street names), the two views Google offers without a key. Republish the site to benefit.
- Importing a site from TOWeb 14 or earlier: a row of images whose caption is written in the text, without a title (bottles and their cuvée name, for example), keeps its images side by side. They were stacked one under another.
- Importing a site from TOWeb 14 or earlier: shipping priced by weight and free above an amount keeps its weight tiers and its free-shipping threshold. Only the threshold was carried over.
- Import products: “Download error CSV” writes a file that opens in columns in Excel set to French, German, Spanish… It fitted in a single column.
- Newsletter: the confirmation link in emails opens a page with a “Confirm my subscription” button, and only that button subscribes the address. Mail antivirus software, which opens the links of incoming emails, confirmed the subscription in the person’s place. Republish the site to benefit.
- Forms, newsletter, bookings and reviews: the limits against mass sending hold even when a robot sends all its requests at once, and the newsletter confirmation email no longer includes any text coming from the page. A form acknowledgement email only copies the message if the site has spam protection (Settings › i-Services › Anti-spam Protection). Republish the site to benefit.
- Bookings: moving an appointment from the management area can no longer double-book with a visitor booking the same slot at the same moment. On clock-change days, slots and the number of nights are correct (a stay over the clock-change night was refused). Republish the site to benefit.
- Online management area, bookings, reviews, forms and customer accounts: a write incident at the host (full disk, outage) leaves the previous file intact. It could empty a booking, making its slot free again, or erase the management area password. Logging out of the management area goes through its button, and a booby-trapped link can no longer log you out. Republish the site to benefit.
- Audience measurement: an ID that TOWeb does not recognise is flagged under its field (Settings › Tracking & Analytics), instead of being silently left out of the published site. Google Ads (AW-…) and Floodlight (DC-…) IDs are accepted in the Google Analytics 4 field.
- Shop: the site’s server refuses an impossible quantity sent to payment. A product sold by the unit cannot be bought in fractions, a product sold by measure respects its step and minimum, and an order is free only if its products or its discount really are. Republish the site to benefit.
- Payment: a refund, a denial or a reversal recorded at PayPal updates the order in the management area. PayPal’s notifications did not find the order. With Worldline, a payment still in progress when the customer returns stays “pending” instead of being marked paid. With Braintree, an account with several access keys receives its notifications. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: currencies without cents (yen, won, CFA franc…) are no longer offered for selling online: their amounts were sent multiplied by 100 to the payment provider. Support for them will come in a future update.
- Shop in a language other than French: the new-order email to the merchant and the stock messages are in the site’s main language. They were sent in English. Republish the site to benefit.
- Pages: an abnormal block setting, coming from an import or an assistant, can no longer insert code into the published site; a background image can no longer load a foreign address. Two identical forms on the same page are no longer mixed up, and a booking error is announced by screen readers. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: discount codes are no longer written in plain text in the published site’s checkout page, where anyone could read them. The code the customer enters is still checked by the site’s server. Republish the site to benefit.
- Cart: a cart kept by the browser that has become unreadable no longer blocks purchases across the whole site. A quantity typed on the keyboard (empty, negative, decimal for a product sold by the unit) is corrected, and the total displayed matches the amount paid to the cent for products sold by measure. Going back to the confirmation page by its address no longer empties the cart if no payment was started, and payment errors are announced by screen readers. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: a product page with the same address as a collection or a page number gets its own address (“-2”), and the generation reports it. One of the two pages disappeared from the published site. A product whose variants are all disabled is shown out of stock, instead of a buy button that failed at checkout, and a pre-order product is announced as such to Google. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: large shops are generated and published more lightly. All product pages share a single stylesheet, instead of one copy per page, and the checkout page no longer contains the whole catalogue. Republish the site to benefit.
- Undo (⌘Z / Ctrl+Z): two changes saved at the same moment (yours and an assistant’s, for example) remain two separate steps, and each one is undone on its own. Undo no longer rolls back what is not undoable: publishing settings, mail connection, site notes, media imported in the meantime.
- Saving: a page, blog post, product or documentation page that is created, deleted or reordered is saved in the site right away. After a power cut just after it was created, a page could not be found. On opening, a page that was saved but missing from the list is recovered.
- Opening a site: if its main file is damaged (power cut during saving), TOWeb replaces it with the one from the latest restore point and keeps the damaged file alongside. The site would no longer open.
- Site open elsewhere: as soon as the site is opened in another window or on another computer, TOWeb says so and no longer saves anything from this window, pages included. Only the site index was protected: pages kept being written over those of the other computer.
- Assistant (TOWeb driven by an AI): a file from your computer imported as media can only come from your personal folders (Documents, Pictures, Downloads…), never from a hidden file or system settings, and the Publish screen lists the files the assistant imported before they go online. When you edit the same page as the assistant at the same moment, your typing is kept.
- Publishing: a .htaccess file already on the host that TOWeb cannot read is left as it is instead of being replaced. Over FTP, when the publishing folder contains something other than a site (emails, hosting settings), TOWeb only ever deletes there the files it published itself.
- Blog: a tag named like a blog post, a page number or the blog home page gets its own address (“-2”). It replaced that page on the published site. The RSS feed is announced in every page, no longer breaks on a site name containing a backslash or a $ sign, and the dates of blog posts and documentation follow the site’s time zone. Republish the site to benefit.
- SEO: blog posts, products and documentation pages hidden from search engines no longer appear in the sitemap. Bookings: the calendar counts “today” in the site’s time, even for a visitor in another time zone. Republish the site to benefit.
- Team block: the initials of a member without a photo follow their name when you change it, and an added member gets the same colour badge as the sample members. Sample members kept the initials of their first name. Republish the site to benefit.
- Team block: “Photo size” offers “None”, for a committee or a contact list shown with names and roles only, without photos or initials. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: a currency without cents (yen, won, CFA franc…) that is already selected is flagged under the “Currency” field, with the reason: online payment is not yet possible with it.
- Sites in German: the address of a new page, a translated page or a tag writes “ü”, “ö”, “ä” and “ß” the German way without umlauts (“für” → fuer, “Größe” → groesse), no longer fur or grose. Addresses already published do not change.
- Shop: a discount code entered at checkout is checked by the site’s server, which shows the exact discount for the cart, with a limited number of attempts. The page no longer contains any trace of the codes. In the TOWeb preview, a message explains that discount codes are checked on the published site. Republish the site to benefit.
- Online management area: invoice settings, the invoice counter and stock levels are stored in protected files that an address typed in a browser can no longer read. Two invoices created at the same moment never get the same number. Republish the site to benefit.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.21
October 23, 2026
Improvements
- Image block: the “Alt Text” can now also be entered in the right-hand panel, under the image preview. The caption is still typed directly under the image.
- Editor: in an empty “Columns” block, Backspace or Delete selects the whole block; pressing again removes it.
- “Carousel” gallery: each image can carry a “Link” (a page, an address, a file), like online store slideshows. Clicking the image opens that link instead of enlarging it. Republish the site to benefit.
- Editor: when you hover a link to a page, a tooltip reminds you that ⌘ + click (Ctrl + click on Windows) opens that page. A simple click places the cursor in the link, to edit it.
- Preview: from a page’s editor, “Preview” opens on that page, in the language you are editing, instead of the last page viewed.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: an option without a price (a size, a colour) or a stock of zero no longer stops a catalogue without prices or cart from becoming pages, since TOWeb 14 did not display them. A catalogue where an item has a reference, a stock or a weight stays a shop.
- Languages: with the “Lauyan Cloud” AI, the “Translate now” button also translates the site, without waiting for publication.
- Theme: in the font picker, each name is shown in its own font. No more trying them one by one.
- PayPal payments: the help for the “Webhook ID” field gives the address to enter in PayPal and where to find the Client ID and Secret.
- Shop: payment methods and shipping methods can be put in order by dragging them by their handle, or with the keyboard. The order of the list is the one buyers see at checkout.
- Editor: ⌘ + click (Ctrl + click on Windows) on a link in the text now also opens the linked page in a site imported from TOWeb 14, and a link to another website opens in the browser.
- Editor: typing while a whole block is selected (a logo cloud, an image…) no longer deletes it. Typing opens a new line below the block, in the same section: “/” opens the block menu there, and the chosen block is added to that section.
- Bookings: a break after each appointment can now be set per resource (“Schedule” tab, “Break after each appointment”, in minutes): preparation or cleaning time during which no other appointment can start. Republish the site to benefit.
- AI assistant (MCP server): it can now be tried in every edition. Your assistant creates and builds complete sites before your eyes. During the trial, it only changes sites it created: your hand-made sites stay untouched, it can only read them or make a copy. Putting a site created by the assistant during the trial online comes with the Studio edition, with nothing to redo.
- Protected pages: a visitor who enters the password of one page also unlocks, for their visit, the other pages protected by the same password, as in TOWeb 14. They no longer have to type it again on each sub-page.
Fixes
- Editor: the text formatting bar has an “Underline” button. The Cmd + U shortcut (Ctrl + U on Windows) already worked, but nothing showed it.
- “About” window: Windows 11 is now shown as Windows 11 (with its build number), no longer as “Windows 10.0”.
- Bookings: the “Services share the same calendar” box (salon, beauty institute, spa), the number of slots bookable in a row and a resource’s iCal calendars did not reach the published site, nor the editor when reopened. Republish the site to benefit.
- White label (Studio edition): the published site and its emails no longer mention TOWeb. The texts of the “Made with TOWeb” badge are no longer in the page code when the badge is not shown, and form and order emails no longer carry a “TOWeb” mention. Development comments no longer end up in the published code. Republish the site to benefit.
- Scrolling banner: it scrolls even when Theme › “Entrance animations” is off, a setting that only concerns how blocks appear. It stays still for visitors whose device asks for fewer animations. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: “Pay on delivery” and “Store pickup” show in the site’s language at checkout. They kept the English name of their template until you renamed them. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: the Mondial Relay pickup point map shows again at checkout. It answered “Couldn't load the map”, as Mondial Relay had changed the address of its module. Republish the site to benefit.
- Published sites: the style sheet is now properly compressed (about half the size) and page scripts lose their comments, which speeds up display, especially on phones. Republish the site to benefit.
- Check the site: an “External” link to a folder you uploaded yourself to your hosting (/folder/) is no longer reported as broken. It is checked with the other external links by “Check online”.
- Check the site: a link or button pointing to another part of your domain (for example an old site published in another folder) is no longer listed under “Dead internal links”. It is checked with the other external links by “Check online”.
- Forms: the email you receive no longer shows an empty “Name” or “Email” line when the form has no such field. Republish the site to benefit.
- FAQ block: line breaks and paragraphs in an answer are kept, in the editor and on the site. Republish the site to benefit.
- Theme: the “Sample blocks” view, a technical sheet in French, no longer appears. Every setting shows directly on your site.
- Menu: unticking a shop’s collections (or a blog’s tags) in “Collections shown” immediately removes the matching entries from the submenu. Before, they stayed until the next change to the site.
- Hero with “Background image”: the headings, text and buttons placed after it in the same section keep the site’s width, instead of sticking to the left edge of the screen. Republish the site to benefit.
- Preview: on a computer that is very slow to load the site engine (often because of an antivirus), the preview no longer stays empty without a word. TOWeb restarts it once and, if it fails again, explains what to do.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.20
October 21, 2026
New
- TOWeb 14 import: an illustrated timeline becomes a “Scroll story”, with one image per step and the date as its eyebrow. A timeline without images stays a Timeline. The import report says so.
- Editor: a Columns block can be undone in one click with “Remove columns”, in its settings. The content of both columns is kept, one below the other, at full width, and an empty column disappears.
- New site: the “Blank site” type creates a single empty home page, with no sample content, in the most understated style (you can change it).
- Form: new “Heading” field type, a fixed text that splits the fields into groups (“Your details”, “Your project”). When a V14 site is imported, each “Label” becomes a heading, in its place in the form.
- Shop: a product page accepts videos (a media library file, YouTube or Vimeo) in its gallery, with a preview image. The first image stays a photo: the shop, the cart and sharing always use your images.
- Theme › Colors: enter your brand color (#rrggbb code or eyedropper), and the style derives its whole palette from it while keeping texts readable.
Improvements
- Carousel gallery: with “Autoplay”, the new “Change image every” setting sets the pace: 3, 5 or 8 seconds. The default stays 5 seconds, as before.
- Multilingual site: order emails, withdrawal notices and cart reminders are now written in Bulgarian, Hungarian, Russian, Arabic and Hebrew, instead of English.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: the site uses the colors of its TOWeb 15 style. Those of the old site stay one click away in Theme › Colors (“Restore the colors of my TOWeb 14 site”), and can be undone just as easily.
- TOWeb 14 site import: a catalogue without prices or cart that showcased projects or services now becomes a page presenting them as cards, each with its own page, instead of a shop.
- License: the license summary shows how many computers it allows and how many use it (for example “2 allowed, 1 in use”).
- Title bar: with many sites open, inactive tabs shrink to their badge (the name shows on hover), and the tab of the site on screen keeps its name.
- Startup: TOWeb opens faster. Each screen loads the first time you open it.
- Editing: typing is smoother on long pages, the “/” menu opens faster, and the media library stays smooth while thumbnails load. A header submenu you hover over no longer closes by itself.
- Editing: the Edit › Undo menu works like ⌘Z / Ctrl+Z. It undoes typing in a text or a field, and otherwise the site’s last change, whose name it shows.
- Editing: text typed in a block (Hero title, quote, key figures, timeline steps…) is saved as you type, without having to leave the field, and ⌘Z / Ctrl+Z undoes it in one go.
- Published site: the cart works with the keyboard and screen readers (Esc closes it, the focus stays inside and then returns where it was), and a form points out each field to correct right below the field, in the language of the site. Republish the site to benefit.
- AI assistant (MCP): a wrongly named setting is refused, with its name, instead of being silently ignored; a long page can be read as an outline or section by section, the media library page by page, and all the assistant’s messages are in English.
Fixes
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: YouTube and Vimeo videos in catalogue items are now brought over. In a product page, they are added to its media, after its images; in a showcase catalogue, without prices or cart, they stay on each item’s page. A catalogue whose items were “not available for sale” is now recognised as a showcase catalogue. For a site already imported, import it again.
- Site backups: the history list stays inside the window, even with a very long site name. A name that is too long is cut with “…”.
- Video: the “External URL” tab accepts the address of a video or audio file published on another website (.mp4, .webm, .mp3…). It presents and plays it in the editor instead of showing “Unable to load the image”.
- Testimonials: the photo chosen for a person in the panel is now the one shown in the preview and on the published site. Before, on a block created from a template or imported, the old photo could remain. Republish the site to update the photos online.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a post that starts with a subtitle followed by an image no longer shows that image twice. It becomes the post’s cover image and is no longer repeated in the text. For a site already imported, delete the duplicate image from the post’s text.
- Pricing plans: a plan’s “Button link” opens the link picker, as everywhere else. You can choose a page, a web address, an e-mail or a file from the media library, for example a document to download.
- Announcement bar: the web address typed in “Link” is always saved, even if you change another setting or close the panel right after. Before, it could be lost, and the bar then led to the current page instead of the site you entered. Check your bar’s address, then republish.
- Editor: a heading, paragraph, image or gallery placed in a Columns block has its own ⋮⋮ handle again on hover, to drag it out of the columns or move it, instead of taking the whole block along. To move the entire Columns block, a second handle appears next to it, against its left edge.
- Shop: the collection editing window stays on screen when its description is long. It scrolls, and the Description field scrolls on its own beyond a certain height. The same applies to the AI assistant windows that create a page or a block.
- Forms: the email received when a visitor sends a form shows the option chosen from a list or radio buttons exactly as written, with its accents (“Salarié”), instead of a technical value (“salari_”). Just publish the site again.
- Footer: the “Logo” column takes an image (your logo, a QR code…) with “Image › Choose”. Until now it only showed the site name, except on a site imported from TOWeb 14.
- Site: a section’s “Heading entrance” effect (“Rising words”, “Words coming into focus”) also animates its main heading (H1), not just its subheadings.
- Multilingual site: a translation you reviewed, or brought over from a TOWeb 14 site, is no longer replaced by an automatic translation when you touch up the original text, and the links to a page’s other languages always lead to the right address.
- AI assistant (Studio): a site created in one go keeps the price, summary and stock of its products even when a photo could not be imported, uses the computer’s language if none is given, applies the requested fonts, shows each opening time on its own line, and no longer invents shipping costs or an e-mail address.
- Bookings: time slots and deadlines follow the time zone of the site’s country (a site in the United Kingdom is no longer one hour off). Republish the site to benefit.
- Published site: visitors are asked again about cookies after six months, and the reCAPTCHA anti-spam check, like the content of an “Embed” block subject to cookies, waits for their consent. Republish the site to benefit.
- Published site and shop: stronger protections. Republish the site to benefit.
- Blog: in an article with little text, a Key Figures block now uses the full width of the article instead of stacking its numbers one below the other. Republish the site to benefit.
- Media: deleting an image that is still in use can be undone (Edit › Undo), and the image returns to its place in the pages.
- Media: after a file is replaced, the old one no longer piles up in the site; it is kept only as long as you can go back.
- TOWeb 14 site import: a failed import no longer leaves a half-created site behind, a product that could not be carried over is named in the report, and a link to an unpublished page stays plain text instead of leading to a missing page.
- AI assistant (MCP): a product created with its images keeps its price, images and description.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.19
October 19, 2026
New
- Licence: TOWeb 15 has its licence agreement. It opens from the header of the Licence screen, through the “Licence agreement” link, in every edition, and can be saved as a PDF. The terms of sale checkbox mentions it before a purchase.
- Publish: “Export to folder…” (in “Check and test”) copies the ready-to-publish site to the folder of your choice, then opens it. Your publishing setting (FTP, SFTP) does not change. This button replaces “Build without publishing”.
- Video: when you choose a video (Media block or section background), its cover image is taken from the video itself. “Pick from the video” lets you pick the exact moment with a slider. A cover you chose yourself is never replaced.
- Title bar: with several sites open, an “Open sites” menu next to the tabs lists them all and lets you switch between them.
Improvements
- Installation: TOWeb is lighter (about 125 MB less once installed). A video in a format browsers cannot play (AVI, WMV…) is flagged on import, with the advice to convert it to MP4.
- Importing a V14 site: you choose where the imported site is saved (“Saved to … · Change”), for example on another drive, as when creating a site. And the name suggested for a backup now starts with the site name.
- Publish: when an AI assistant (MCP) has added or changed code that will run on the site (custom code, .htaccess, header script, “Embed” block), the Publish screen shows it in an “AI assistant changes to review” box, with a “View” button for each change. Nothing is blocked; the list clears after the next publication.
- Published site: under an email field (contact, newsletter, order, booking), a typo in the address of a major webmail (gmail.vom, hotmial.com…) is pointed out to the visitor with “Did you mean …?”, and one click fixes it. The address as typed is always still accepted. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: the Taxes screen flags a European Union country where you sell but that no VAT rate covers, since its buyers would pay no VAT. Outside the European Union, a country without a rate stays at 0%, with nothing to set up.
- Licence: the edition cards say what each edition really brings, like those on lauyan.com. A “See the demo” link sits on the relevant items (the shop, its dashboard, bookings), and “Learn more” on the AI assistant.
- Licence: a licence is used on two computers (for example at the office and at home), not at the same time. To switch, “Deactivate” on one and then “Activate” on the other, freely. If an old computer is no longer available, “Use it here” transfers the licence to the new one, after confirmation (3 transfers per 12-month period).
- Licence: TOWeb must check your licence online at least once every 60 days. Without a check, your licence features stop until the next Internet connection, which restores them on its own. TOWeb warns you beforehand, in the License screen and with a reminder. Your sites and data stay intact.
- Publish: when sending email fails, “Test the server” shows the exact response of the mail server (Gmail’s, for example), to pass on to support or to your host.
- Shop: for an order to be delivered, the checkout page now only offers your “Selling Countries” (“Store details”). If the shop sells in a single country, the customer is no longer asked for the delivery country. An order without delivery (services, digital products) keeps the full list of countries.
- Pricing: a new “Button: under the price” setting places the button right under the price, at the same height on every card, so that it stays visible without scrolling. Each plan’s introduction text is also more compact.
- Shop: when the cart is empty, it offers a “Browse the shop” button, in the language of the page, even on a site whose menu is collapsed. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Pricing: an item in a plan’s list can carry a link (to a page of the site, an anchor or an external address), shown as a small link after the text, for example “See the demo →”. The plan lists are also more compact, so that the cards and their buttons fit on a laptop screen. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Buying TOWeb: the payment page offers an optional “Company” field. Your company name then appears on the invoice, under yours.
- AI assistant (MCP): a site created in one go now has the business name and tagline as its home page title, product pages with their full description, a shop at an address in its language (/boutique/ in French), and bookings are no longer shown as active with nothing to book.
- Title bar: the AI engine in use and the save status are shown as icons, with details on hover (engine and model, time of the last save). On a small screen, “Preview” and “Publish” keep only their icon.
Fixes
- Title bar: with several sites open, the site tabs shrink and then scroll instead of sliding under the buttons on the right, and the active site’s tab stays visible. The dot that signals articles to read stays on the logo, with the sidebar expanded or collapsed.
- Undo: ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z) undoes typing in a text, including the very first keystroke after opening a page, and the last change to the site when the cursor is on a button in the page or outside the text; if there is nothing to undo, TOWeb now says so instead of staying silent.
- Windows: keyboard zoom (Ctrl with the +, − and 0 keys) works whatever the keyboard layout (French, German, English…), including the numeric keypad.
- Links: the “External” tab accepts a site address starting with “/” (for example /shop/my-collection/), set to the right language on publication.
- Importing a V14 site: in a form, a “Label” (a heading between fields) no longer becomes an empty input box; at the top of the form it becomes its introduction, elsewhere it is mentioned in the report. A “File” field stays a file upload, and a choice list becomes a single choice with its options.
- “Embed” block: it now accepts code up to 1 MB (instead of 100 KB), for tools that provide long code.
- Free hosting: a page containing PHP or protected by a password no longer adds a directive to the .htaccess file, which Free rejects. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Shop: in the “Variants” tab of a product, a long variant name wraps instead of pushing the fields off screen.
- Importing a V14 site: the description of a catalogue that became a collection keeps its paragraphs, without run-together words or “Previous / Next” buttons. The published site shows it in paragraphs.
- Password-protected pages: their images display again on the published site. Image optimisation during publication overlooked them, and their original files were removed from the server. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Shop: the name, reference and variant of an item on the order, the e-mail, the invoice and the payment page always come from your catalogue, in the language of the order. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Shop: Worldline now switches to production when you set it so, and Authorize.net notifications find their order and check its amount. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Bookings: the “Cancel” links sent to customers stay valid from one publication to the next. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Languages: the address of a page in a secondary language takes its translated title and is fixed from its publication. On a multilingual site already online, some translated addresses therefore change at the next publication (for example /de/contact/ becomes /de/kontakt/): the old address redirects to the new one, so search ranking is not lost, and search engines take a few days to adopt it.
- Pages: the page order chosen by drag and drop is no longer undone when another page is saved, and the menu no longer changes by itself.
- Open sites: when quitting TOWeb, the list of sites to reopen at the next launch is no longer emptied.
- Published site: the blog RSS feed of each language gives links and titles in that language, and the WebLegal cookie manager no longer delays page display. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Social networks: an e-mail address entered on its own for the “Email” icon (without “mailto:”) now opens the visitor’s e-mail app instead of a page not found. The same goes for a phone number or a web address that does not start with https. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Theme: the “Text size” setting (Shapes & rhythm) also applies to photo captions, in galleries and image blocks.
- AI assistant (MCP): a partial change to the shop settings no longer removes the rest (payment methods, VAT rates), the undo history can be read while TOWeb is open, and content written in a language other than the site’s is refused with an explanation instead of creating an empty page.
- Shop: the help now gives the right folder for uploading sold files to the server (iserv/downloads/files).
- Publish: when files have disappeared from the server (deleted at the hosting provider, for example), TOWeb sends them again by itself instead of failing with “Upload not confirmed”. No need to tick “Re-send all files” anymore.
- Published site and shop: stronger protections. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: after a payment, the buyer’s address and e-mail are no longer kept in the browser, even on a shared computer. Publish the site again to benefit.
- Shop: payment no longer fails with some hosting providers, nor when the shop name contains an apostrophe. Publish the site again to benefit.
- AI assistant (MCP): it no longer sees the secret keys of your payment methods, and can no longer send a request to support on your behalf.
- Importing a V14 site: a cancelled import no longer leaves a half-imported site behind, and a protected page is never published before its protection is in place.
- Publish: exporting to a folder on the computer refuses personal folders (Desktop, Documents, Downloads…) and the root of a USB drive; choose a subfolder. A folder not created by TOWeb is only replaced after confirmation, and its former contents go to the Trash.
- Pages: two pages can no longer have the same address. The second one gets a suffix (“-2”), so that neither disappears from the site.
- Publish: the optimizer no longer wrongly reports “Images without alternative text” on the page of a product with several images when their texts are filled in. And the “What costs” heading now says “page weight”, so it is no longer mistaken for a product’s weight.
- Shop: when choosing the payment method, the instructions for a bank transfer or a cheque (IBAN, BIC, account holder…) keep their line breaks instead of showing as a single block.
- Shop: in the “Order summary”, a product name is no longer cut off on one line. The chosen variant (for example “Conference + Buffet”) stays readable, and two variants of the same product can be told apart.
- Publishing to Windows hosting: the images of a site that replaces a TOWeb 14 site now appear after a normal publish. Until now you had to tick “Re-send all files”.
- Preview: if page generation does not finish, the preview no longer stays on “Generating pages...” forever. After 10 minutes, it says so and explains what to do.
- Hero: “Open in new tab” on a Hero button is now kept, and the link really opens in a new tab on the published site.
- Publish: the optimiser no longer reports “Images without alternative text” on every page when the header logo is shown next to the site name. The name is enough to name the logo. Publish the site again to benefit.
- “Embed” block: code is typed in a real code editor, with colours. On Windows, the cursor lands where you click again, whatever the display scaling.
- Save and Undo: a change to a block title or text (Hero, cards, FAQ…) is shown as “modified” right away, and Undo is available from the first keystroke. ⌘S (Ctrl+S) also saves the text you are typing.
- Sidebar: with several sites open, it keeps the same state (expanded or collapsed) from one site to another, and no longer expands then collapses when you switch tabs.
- Media block: a video from the media library plays again in the editor and in “Pick from the video”, which showed “This video cannot be played here”.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.18
October 17, 2026
New
- Theme: new “Density” setting in “Shapes & rhythm”. “Compact”, “Normal” or “Airy” sets the space between sections across the whole site, keeping the style’s own rhythm.
- Shop: when your prices include tax, the tax is shown below the total, as “incl. VAT 20%”, on the invoice, order emails, customer account and checkout page. Placed above, it looked as if it was added to the total.
- Support: a typo in the email address of a major webmail (gmail.vom, hotmial.com…) is flagged with “Did you mean …?”, and one click fixes it. Your address is always accepted as typed, and an address on your own domain is never flagged.
- Shop: new “Right of withdrawal” setting in Store details. For accommodation, an event or a restaurant booked for a specific date, “Does not apply” removes the footer link, the “14-day returns” badge and the notice in the order email.
- Shop: new “Return policy” setting (free returns, customer pays or no returns, with a number of days). Google reads it on every product page and stops flagging it as missing.
- Editor: headings and paragraphs now have their ⋮⋮ handle on hover, to drag them elsewhere on the page or move them up and down, like other blocks.
- Editor: a Columns block has its own ⋮⋮ handle when you hover its text. It can be dragged, or moved with “Move Up” and “Move Down”, between two paragraphs of a page, including a page imported from TOWeb 14, and can no longer be dropped into a column of another Columns block.
- TOWeb window: it opens at the size and position where you left it, maximized if it was. If the screen has been unplugged in the meantime, it comes back to the centre of the main screen.
- Forms: in a “Dropdown” or “Radio” field, options can be reordered with the “Move option up” and “Move option down” arrows, with the mouse or the keyboard.
- TOWeb 14 import: a “Text & Script” field that contains code becomes a reusable section, placed wherever it appeared. Editing it once changes it on every page, as in TOWeb 14.
- AI assistant (MCP): an assistant can rewrite the text of a heading or paragraph, target a section by its identifier, move a section and undo each of these actions. It reads the state of the PHP modules, searches photos without an open site, writes alt texts in the site’s language, and sets a translation right after writing a text.
Improvements
- Licence: password-protected pages are reserved for paid licences. With the Standard licence you can still set up protection, but a protected page is not published: it never becomes public. It is also removed from the site’s menu and links. If it is the home page, TOWeb does not publish the site and explains what to do.
- Invoices and order emails: VAT is broken down by rate (net base and amount), as the law requires; lines follow the order subtotal, discount, shipping, VAT, total; and the rate is written in the site’s language format.
- Shop: a free option (for example “Talk only”) counts in the price announced for a product with options: “From €0.00”, or a price range starting at €0.00. Only a product whose options are all at 0 stays “Price on request”.
- Shop: on a product page, the “Expand” button gives the description the full height of the screen; “Collapse” (or Esc) brings back the other fields.
- Media: when a file is refused on import, TOWeb says which one and why (for example a video over 100 MB, with the advice to compress it), instead of “Failed to import files”.
- Media: an imported image no longer gets its file name as alt text; the site review flags it until one is written.
- Blocks: the “Comments / Reviews” block is no longer offered on a page (it only worked in a post). The Newsletter block can hide its title, the “Logo Cloud” block shows the name of a logo without an image, and the countdown aligns left, center or right.
- TOWeb 14 import: the “Preparing…” step shows its progress, and the window no longer freezes on a large site.
- Preview: a very large site now has up to 5 minutes to start its preview, instead of 3. A large site imported from TOWeb 14 sometimes showed “Preview failed to start” when it was about to open. The first display of a preview page is also better prepared.
- Windows: when OneDrive has moved the Documents folder, new sites are created in the Documents folder that File Explorer shows. Existing sites stay where they are and still appear in the list.
- TOWeb 14 import: on Windows, sites are also found when the Documents folder has been moved to OneDrive.
- TOWeb 14 site import: the site takes the name it displayed (the shop’s name, otherwise the logo text) instead of its folder name. This is the name shown in emails, sharing previews and search results.
- Publishing to a Windows host (IIS): when the server already has its own web.config file, TOWeb adds the image types it lacks (.webp, .avif) without removing anything. Images on these sites stayed invisible. Republish the site with “Re-send all files” ticked.
- Shop: the checkout page (payment and confirmation) is no longer offered to search engines or listed in the sitemap. Republish the site to benefit.
Fixes
- Publish: the web.config file of a Windows (IIS) host is no longer replaced when TOWeb cannot read it. And a mistyped publishing folder directly in your account (for example “public_htm”) is no longer created: publishing stops and says so.
- Title with rotating words: the automatic size reduction, so a long word fits on the line, also works in a subtitle and respects the size chosen for the title.
- AI assistant (MCP): a “Shop” or “Blog” page merged with the automatic page keeps its subpages; a new booking resource takes the currency of the site’s country as long as the shop sells nothing; a text containing the word “hidden” is no longer taken for a hidden element.
- TOWeb 14 site import: a Vimeo video with an old, short address (fewer than 5 digits) is recognised again.
- Updates on Windows: an update installs even when an AI assistant (Claude Desktop, ChatGPT…) is open. Restart the assistant once TOWeb has restarted.
- Forms: the email received shows the field labels as they are displayed (accents included), wraps instead of being cut off on the right, shows ✓ for a ticked box, and carries the site name rather than the project name. Republish the site to benefit.
- Publish: a disconnected email sending account (Gmail, Microsoft 365) no longer blocks publishing. The site goes out, its emails go through the web host’s server, and a message explains how to reconnect the account.
- “About TOWeb” window: a long blog post title no longer makes it overflow its frame.
- TOWeb 14 site import: an autoplaying YouTube or Vimeo video is imported muted, otherwise the browser does not start it and it stays still.
- Site imported from TOWeb 14: the old site’s empty links (“#?twscroll”) are no longer published. The text stays, without a link, and the check panel no longer reports “Anchors to a missing section” for them.
- Check panel: “Fix” for a site without a favicon now leads to the “Project” screen, where it is chosen (the tile to the left of the site name), instead of “Theme”.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site published in a subfolder (for example /site/): its old addresses keep that folder and redirect to the new pages again, whether the TOWeb 15 site is published in the same place or at the root.
- Site published in a subfolder: an old address entered in full (with the folder name) redirects to the new page again.
- Published site: an old address no longer redirects to an unpublished post, product or page, which led to a “page not found”.
- Key Figures block: in a narrow column (blog post, Columns block, 5 figures side by side), the numbers shrink to fit their card instead of overlapping, and the figures wrap onto a new line when space runs out. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: in a product’s page, a currency written with several letters (CHF, for example) no longer covers the start of the selling price, compare-at price, cost price or eco-contribution.
- “Embed” block (HTML code): an image loaded from another address, such as a webcam, stays live on the published site. It used to be copied into the site at the first publication and stayed frozen on that day. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: a product with variants created in the Variants tab shows its variants and its price on the site. It used to show “Price on request”, with nothing to choose. In the product list, “From …” also shows the full currency.
- Promo codes: restrictions by product tag, “First order only” and the number of uses per customer are now truly enforced at checkout, with a clear message to the buyer. A % discount reserved for some products only applies to them, a fixed product discount applies per item, and a code “until 31/12” stays valid all day on the 31st.
- “Pricing plans” block: the badge of the highlighted plan shows in the page’s language (it stayed “Populaire” in French on an English site).
- Shop: with a promo code, VAT is calculated on the discounted price, rate by rate, in the checkout, emails, invoices and customer account. It was still calculated on the price before the discount, so too high. The amount paid does not change.
- Forms: a contact form sends its emails again when sending goes through Gmail or Microsoft 365 with your account’s authorisation. On the published site it failed with a “setOAuth” error.
- Publishing: with a host that restricts .htaccess, such as Free, a site imported from TOWeb 14 no longer fails with a 500 error. The redirects of the old catalogues, which the host refuses, are no longer published.
- TOWeb 14 import: with a password-protected backup, a wrong password always shows “This password does not match the backup”. About once in 256 times, TOWeb wrongly showed “This backup cannot be read”.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.17
15 October 2026
New
- Your AI assistant builds and edits your sites in TOWeb: describe your project to Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor or LM Studio, and it creates the pages, texts, images, shop and translations before your eyes, and only publishes with your consent. Studio edition, in beta. TOWeb Settings › AI › AI assistant (MCP).
- The latest posts from the lauyan.com blog appear in the “About TOWeb” window. A red dot on the TOWeb logo, at the top of the sidebar, signals a new post.
Improvements
- Creating a site: the style suggested by default better matches the chosen trade (wine cellar and restaurant, law firm, sports club, beauty salon…) and is no longer always the same.
- Updates: TOWeb checks every two hours, and when the computer wakes up, whether a new version is available. Left open for several days, it only saw it after a restart.
- Code block: on the published site, a button copies the code in one click, without the line numbers.
Fixes
- Map block: on the published site, the map can be moved and zoomed again. It was frozen.
- Multilingual site: old addresses in the site’s main language (pages, posts, products, documentation, imported TOWeb 14 site) redirect to the new ones again. Republish the site to benefit.
- Published site: on Windows hosting, images show online again.
- Contact forms: on up-to-date hosting, sending no longer fails after the anti-spam check.
- Header: the logo’s “Also show the site name” option stays on.
- Shop: when all the products of a site are deleted, their names are no longer published in the cart files.
- Automatic translation: when the AI stops responding, TOWeb shows its response (credit used up at the provider, key rejected…), instead of only asking you to check the AI.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: HTML5 sounds (MP3 or OGG files from the media library) are carried over into a Media block, with their player. They were lost on import, without warning.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: photo frames (thin border, drop shadow, mat, polaroid, rounded corners) are carried over with the closest TOWeb 15 frame. Text written inside an icon, such as a heading, is no longer lost with it.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: HTML5 videos (MP4, WebM or OGV files from the media library) are carried over into a Video block, with their poster image. They were lost on import, without warning.
- YouTube and Vimeo videos: more address formats are recognised, when importing a TOWeb 14 site as in the Video block (share link with parameters, privacy mode, old embed code, live, Vimeo channel or album). A video entered in one of these formats was lost on import.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: the site icon (favicon and its large Windows tile version) is carried over. TOWeb makes every format from it, iPhone, Android and Windows tiles included.
- Shop: a product limited to 1 per order, such as a service, no longer shows a quantity in the cart or in the order summary: no − and + buttons, no “1”. The cart already refused to add more. Republish the site to benefit.
- Pre-publishing checklist, in Italian and Portuguese: the red group no longer says “blocks”, since nothing in it prevents publishing; the group points out what does not work for the visitor.
- SFTP publishing into a sub-folder that does not exist yet (a test, a second version of the site): TOWeb creates it and sends the site there. With some hosts, the site went to the login folder, invisible on the web.
- Age verification: its message no longer adds a second main heading to every page, which search engines and screen readers picked up. Republish the site to benefit.
- Heading with a rotating word: punctuation stays attached to the word and a long word is no longer split in two. Republish the site to benefit.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: links to a page opened “in a window” now lead to that page, so do the clickable thumbnails in blog posts, and each post keeps its original date. Import the site again to benefit.
- Multilingual site: a link typed by hand to a post or a product (for example “/blog/my-post”) now leads to its translated version in every language. It led to a page not found, common in posts brought over from a TOWeb 14 site. Republish the site to benefit.
- Links to a page heading (“Jump to”): the link now follows the targeted heading even if you change its text. It led nowhere after a rename. For a link created before this update, pick the heading again once in “Jump to”.
- Team block and social links: the Website, Email and Phone icons are now drawn properly, no longer as a solid circle. Republish the site to benefit.
- Editor: clicking the background of a section that only contains an action button now selects it. Its settings (background image, Move up, Move down…) open on the right, instead of the page settings.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.16
14 October 2026
New
- New site in German or Italian: the page templates (home pages by trade, about, contact, services…) are now written in your language, with page addresses in your language. In a language other than French, English, German or Italian, TOWeb warns that the sample text will be in English, and suggests letting the AI write the page in the site’s language.
- Visibility in AI assistants: the published site now contains an llms.txt file, which presents its pages, products and posts to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other assistants, along with an llms-full.txt file holding the text of its pages. Pages excluded from search engines and protected pages are left out. The “Present the site to AI assistants” box in Settings › SEO turns it off, and nothing is published if you block AI crawlers. The site address must be filled in. Republish the site to benefit.
- Prepare a section in advance: “Don’t publish”, in a section’s menu, keeps it in the page, editable and marked “Not published”, but off the published site. “Publish section” puts it online at the next publication.
- Shop: “Export”, in the product list, saves the whole catalog to a CSV or Excel file: names, descriptions, prices, stock, categories, tags, variants and images, with one column per language for names and descriptions. The file opens in Excel or Numbers, and can be imported back into TOWeb with “Import”.
- Blog: schedule a post. The “Scheduled” status, in the post’s properties, sets a date and time: the post goes live with the first site publication after that date. The site does not publish itself: publish it on that day, or later.
- “Show on” desktop, tablet, mobile: every block and every section can be hidden on a type of screen, for example a large visual on mobile. In the editor it stays visible with a badge, and the device preview shows the result. A section’s Mobile, Tablet and Desktop switches, which so far had no effect on the site, now apply. Republish the site to benefit.
Improvements
- Shop: a product limited to 1 per order (Maximum per order) is sold individually. Its page no longer shows a quantity choice or the “Limited to 1 per order” note, which suits a service, an appointment or a one-of-a-kind item. Republish the site to benefit.
- Site search: one search finds products, pages, articles and documentation, with results grouped by type, products first. As soon as a shop had one product, the search found only products. Republish the site to benefit.
- Language switcher: on a site in 2 or 3 languages, the header shows the languages in full view, for example “FR | EN”, with the page’s language underlined. Beyond three languages, the globe menu stays. Republish the site to benefit.
Fixes
- Publishing: a page, post or product deleted or renamed in TOWeb now also disappears from the live site at the next publication. Only files TOWeb itself had uploaded are removed: files you added by hand, your shop's data and old TOWeb 14 files stay on the server.
- Embed block, on Windows: in the HTML code, the cursor reaches the end of the line and deleting starts where it is. Long lines used to wrap differently in the field and in its colouring, which shifted the cursor by a few characters.
- Key Figures block: the “Cards” layout shows real cards with the Cobalt and Onyx styles, which only showed the big numbers. Republish the site to benefit.
- Artificial intelligence: page and block generation and the assistant write in the site’s language, whatever it is. On a German, Spanish or Italian site, they used to write in English.
- Import report for a TOWeb 14 site: a list of pages or items is no longer cut at ten names. “Show all” gives the full list. Import again to benefit.
- Transparent image (PNG or SVG logo): no coloured background shows behind its transparent parts any more. A round logo used to sit on a square in the site’s colour. Republish the site to benefit.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a full-screen section with a photo background keeps light text, readable on the photo, its large title and its centred text as on the old site.
- “Add” tab: a block (Columns, Image, Table…) is inserted where your cursor is in the section, like a text block. It used to go to the end of the section, which made it impossible to place it between two paragraphs of a page imported from TOWeb 14.
- Menu: the “Max items” setting applies right away, including to the menu of a site imported from TOWeb 14. The “More…” group is rebuilt with the chosen number of items, and its label follows the language of each page.
- Header: in the “Overlay” position, the chosen text colour now applies at the top of the page, while the header is transparent. The “Fixed” option, identical to “Sticky”, is removed, and the panel explains that the effect of the position shows in Preview. Republish the site to benefit.
- Multilingual site: the canonical address entered in a page's SEO tab now applies only to the main language. It was carried over to every language, so Google could ignore the translated pages. Republish the site to benefit.
- Sitemap: pages excluded from search engines and password-protected pages no longer appear in it, in any language. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop: “Free shipping”, shipping discount and “Buy X, Get Y” promo codes now apply on the live site. They were rejected at payment. Republish the site to benefit.
- Site emails without an SMTP server set up (forms, orders, bookings): they are now sent from the noreply@ address of the site's domain, no longer from noreply@www. of the domain, an address some hosts rejected. Republish the site to benefit.
- 404 error page: it shows the site’s header, menu and footer, and a real “Back to home” button in the style’s colours. It only had its title and a plain link. Republish the site to benefit.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.15
13 October 2026
New
- Media library: a media item can have a version for each language of the site, for example a PDF brochure in English or an image whose text is in German. Select the media, then “Versions by language”: the pages in that language show its version wherever the media is used. The Video block also offers a different YouTube or Vimeo video for each language. Republish the site to benefit from this.
Improvements
- YouTube, Vimeo… videos and Google Maps: on a site that shows a cookie banner, they now wait for the visitor's consent, as the law requires. In their place, a message names the service and offers “Show the video” or “Show the map” to see them right away. Videos hosted on your site and OpenStreetMap maps display as before, and the TOWeb preview shows everything. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Multilingual site: a visitor whose browser is set to another language of your site is no longer redirected automatically. A discreet banner, written in their language, offers to switch to that language, and their choice is remembered. This is the practice recommended by Google. The setting is in Settings › Languages, under “Offer visitors their language”. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Shop › Search engines: each product page now tells Google its shipping costs and delivery times by country, taken from your shipping methods. Google can show them in its results and in the Shopping tab. Republish the site to benefit from this.
Fixes
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a page whose file name you had never entered keeps the address TOWeb 14 had given it from its title (prices.html, contact-de.html in another language). That old address now leads to the page instead of a page not found. If two pages had the same name on the old site, the import report names them, so that you can enter their old address in the page settings.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a page or post keeps the address name it had on the old site (my-page.html becomes /my-page/), instead of an address made from its title, and a product keeps the file name you had given it. Your old address still leads to the page, and Google finds the address it already knew. If that name is already taken, a number is added, and the import report points it out.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: from the Premium edition, a calculator, simulator or layout you wrote yourself in a site field is kept whole, where it was, in an “Embed” block. It looks as it did on the old site, without waiting for the visitor's consent as long as it does not load another service. In the Standard edition, the text of a layout is still kept as text, and the import report points out a calculator that will not be published.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a site field made of text and links is kept where it was. It is no longer removed as if it were a widget from another service.
- Blog and shop: pages 2 and beyond of the post and product lists now have their own title and description for search engines, with "page 2", "page 3"… in the page's language. They used to repeat those of the first page, which Google reads as duplicate pages.
- Posts and products: without a search engine description or a summary, the published page now gets one, taken from the beginning of the text, neatly cut at a word and translated into each language of the site. Until now the page had no description, and Google picked one at random.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a link to a page of your own site written with its address (https://www.monsite.fr/ma-page.html, with or without “www”, or simply ma-page.html) now leads to the imported page, on an image, a text, a button, a card or a menu entry, anchor included. It led to the old site, or nowhere. A link to a file on the old site (a PDF…) leads to the file kept in the media library; if the file is not in the backup, the link is kept and the import report points it out, as it does for a link to a page that was not imported.
- Editor: Cmd-click (Mac) or Ctrl-click (Windows) on an image whose click action is a link now follows that link, as on a text link or a button: a page of the site opens in the editor, an external address in the browser.
- Updates: the “What's new in version” window opens again on the first launch after an update, in front of the site you are looking at. When several sites reopened at startup, it opened behind them, in the first tab. The release notes remain available at any time from Help › Release Notes, or in TOWeb Settings › Updates.
- Settings › Tracking & Analytics: Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager and Meta Pixel are now available from the Premium edition, as in TOWeb 14, no longer only in e-Commerce and Studio.
- Theme › Shapes & rhythm: “Text size” now also enlarges or reduces the text written in your pages, not only the text of blocks (cards, FAQs…). On a site imported from TOWeb 14, where almost all the text is written in the pages, the setting seemed to have no effect. It applies the same way in the editor, in the preview and on the published site; as long as you do not change it, nothing changes.
- Theme › Shapes & rhythm: the chosen “Site width” (Narrow, Wide or Full width) now also shows in the page editor and on the Theme screen, within the width of the window. Until now it only applied to the preview and the published site.
- Opening another site while one is already open (Sites screen, File › Recent, assistant): “Undo” can no longer undo, in the site you opened, a change made in the previous one, which could replace part of its content with the other site's. The Theme screen, the block list, booking resources, discount codes, custom fonts and the site's country now show those of the open site straight away, without reloading the window.
- Published site: a media library file offered for download (link to a file in the text, button, card, footer…) is saved by the visitor under the name you gave it in the media library, for example “press-release.pdf”, instead of a string of numbers and letters. Its address does not change: links already shared keep working.
- Map block with Google Maps: the published map now opens at the zoom chosen in the block panel (15 by default, a street and its neighbourhood). It opened at the closest zoom, on a stretch of road without a single street name, and seemed not to work. Publish the site again to fix it.
- Settings › Site legal documents: after you choose a page in the “Choose a page” list, the list now shows that page's title. It used to go back to “Choose a page”, which made it look as if the choice had not been taken into account.
- Shop › Checkout: the “Promo code” field no longer appears when the site has no active promo code and no customer accounts. Customers were looking for a code that did not exist.
- Header › Call-to-action button: a link to a section of a page now leads to that section on the published site. The button used to open the top of the page.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.14

New
- Shop › Store details: the new “Price of a product with options” setting chooses how the price of a product whose options don't all have the same price is shown, on the product page, lists, showcases and search: “From X” (as until now), “Price of the default option” (the first combination, preselected on the product page) or “Price range”, from the lowest price to the highest. Nothing changes for an existing shop until you change this setting.
- Reusable sections: in a section's menu, “Save as reusable section…” makes it a section that is identical on every page that uses it, content and style included. The + button between two sections then offers “Empty section” or one of your reusable sections. In the page, the section shows how many pages use it: “Edit” opens it on its own, in its own screen, and the change applies to all those pages; “Detach” turns it into an ordinary section, on this page only. The “Reusable sections” button on the Pages screen lists them, to rename or delete them: a deleted section stays as a copy on every page that used it.
- Theme › Shapes & rhythm: the new “Heading size” setting, next to “Text size”, shrinks or enlarges the site's headings, from 70% to 120%. The largest change the most, the smallest barely, and no heading goes below the text size. The setting applies the same way in the editor, in the preview and on the published site, on phones as on computers. At 100%, the headings stay those of the style: nothing changes for an existing site.
Improvements
- Timeline and Key figures: each item now has an "Icon" setting to choose its icon from the library, or none at all. Without an icon, a timeline event shows a simple dot. The names of the variants of these two blocks now also appear in TOWeb's language.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a chart (pie, doughnut, bars, lines) is carried over as a table, with all its data, its title and its text. The table reads just as well on a phone as with a screen reader. The import report mentions it.
- Shared sites and backups: from this update on, a site saved with a newer version of TOWeb no longer opens, and its backup no longer restores, in an older version, which could erase what it does not know. TOWeb shows the version that saved the site and offers to check for updates, without changing anything.
- Forms protected by reCAPTCHA or Turnstile: when you publish, TOWeb now checks with Google or Cloudflare that the secret key is accepted. A rejected key would let spam through silently; the Publish screen now says so, along with where to correct the key. Half-configured protection (site key or secret key missing) is shown there too. Without a connection, publishing goes ahead without waiting.
- Shop › product page › Description: the toolbar now offers “Underline” and two subheading levels, “Heading 2” and “Heading 3”, to break up a long description. A second click on the active subheading turns it back into normal text. On the published site, subheadings follow the site's style and stay smaller than the product name, on phones as on computers.
Fixes
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: code pasted into a page's text that is too long for an “Embed” block (more than 100,000 characters) is now reported as not carried over in the import report, with the page concerned. Until now, the report said it had been placed in an “Embed” block.
- Shop › product page, Description: the cursor now stays where you type. It used to jump to the end of the text with each letter typed in the middle, for example when correcting the text of a link.
- Shop › product page, Description: “Insert link” now offers the Page, Post, Product and File tabs, as in the page editor. The link leads to the published address of the target page and follows its address changes.
- Publish: the “Port” field of an FTP or SFTP connection keeps what you type. When emptied, it immediately reverted to 21 or 22, and a typed digit could be replaced by the old port.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a field of the old site quoted inside another field's value, or placed in the title or description of a page, product or post, no longer shows up as raw text. The import report names it, along with where it appeared.
- Footer: the style of the column headings (capitals or underlined) and the separator (subtle, none, or lines between columns) now show on the published site as they do in the editor, whatever the site's style.
- AI with your own key: saving a provider's key now selects that provider when the selected provider had no key, and TOWeb says so. Until now, the key was saved but the site could still not be translated. The Languages screen also names the provider without a key and offers to switch to the one whose key is saved, and a publication with no AI ready to translate now says so instead of going ahead without a word.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a link that was only an icon, such as the button next to a title that leads back to the parent page, becomes a text link named after the page it leads to. Until now it disappeared. When it followed a title, the link now sits below the title. The import report mentions it.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a link to a paragraph of a page now leads to that paragraph. If the paragraph no longer exists, the text stays without a link, and the import report mentions it.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: the menu no longer creates a “More…” entry for a single page beyond the number of menu items. It stays visible at the top level.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a product whose price was carried by its only option, such as "Fine art print on canvas", keeps that price and its crossed-out price instead of arriving as "Price on request". The option's name and value are added to the product's short text, unless they are already there.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a product title followed by a subtitle on the next line, such as an artwork's technique and dimensions, no longer produces a name several lines long. The name takes the first line, and the subtitle moves to the product's short text. The same applies to a collection's name.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a line break placed in a block's title no longer shows up as raw "{CRLF}" text.
- Typing: the cursor no longer jumps to the end of the text with each letter typed, and no letter disappears while typing any more. This applies to the customer instructions and the other fields of a payment method, the fields of shipping methods, taxes and discount codes, the shop name, the title of a callout typed in the page, the old addresses, file name and custom code of a post, a page or a documentation page, the name of a form field, a section's anchor, and the fields of a booking edited from the Booking block. The tags of a discount code and the notification emails of a booking accept a comma again to add an item, and in the shop texts, a space typed before a pause is no longer removed.
- Footer: the text of a links column, such as an address and a phone number placed above a “Contact” link, now appears above its links, in the editor and on the published site. The same goes for a social networks column. A number written with the country code and a (0), such as “+33 (0)1 44 75 01 61”, can also be called correctly with a tap on a phone.
- Contact form: sending no longer fails with “Name is required” when the name field has another technical name, such as “nome” on a site imported from TOWeb 14. The server now recognises the name, email address and message fields whatever their name, and no longer demands a field whose “Required” box is unchecked. Republish the site to benefit from it.
- Forms: reCAPTCHA v3 protection is now checked by the site's server, for contact forms, newsletter sign-up, comments and reviews. A submission that Google judges automated is refused. If Google does not respond, the submission is accepted so that no message from your customers is lost. Comments and reviews, which were refused until now on a site protected by reCAPTCHA, are accepted again, and a protection that is missing a key is reported when you publish. Republish the site to benefit from it.
- Publish › Optimizer: a link that does not work in the menu or the footer is no longer reported once per page. It appears on a single line that says where it is and on how many pages, and “Fix” opens the Pages screen, where the menu and the footer are edited. A page whose content is embedded, such as a legal document or a map, is no longer reported as almost empty, and the WebLegal cookie banner is no longer reported as a resource from another site. A link to a page that contains PHP code is no longer reported as not working.
- Editor, on Windows: in a section whose background image is set to “Fixed background”, part of the content could fail to show (for example only one card of a Team block, without its photo), while the preview showed everything. The editor now shows all the content; the fixed background effect is visible in the preview and on the published site, as before.
- Pages with PHP code: a home page that contains PHP code, or is password protected, now opens on every web host. Some hosts answered "Forbidden" because they did not know which page to open. A page with PHP code that also has, in another Embed block, a pasted SVG drawing starting with its "<?xml" line no longer fails on hosts that read that line as code. Republish the site to benefit.
- Shop, checkout: a cart totalling 0 €, such as a free file or a 100% discount code, can now be ordered even when no payment method is offered for the buyer's country. The "no payment method" message no longer appears for it. If the chosen delivery method is not free, the order becomes payable again and the message appears at that step. A shop with no payment method at all, such as one offering free files, now takes these orders too. Republish the site to benefit.
- Bookings: a weekend discount (a factor below 1, for example 0.8) now shows in the price displayed to the visitor. It was already applied to the amount paid, but the summary showed the full price.
- Publishing over SFTP with deletion of old files: when the publishing folder is outside the login folder, TOWeb now only deletes files it had sent there itself. A folder that also holds other sites, such as one.com's “webroots” folder, keeps their files.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a page protected by a password or reserved for members now keeps all the content of its sidebar, contact details, links and payment methods included. Part of it could end up in the footer, visible across the whole site. The import report says where this content was placed.
- Importing a multilingual TOWeb 14 site: a field of the old site placed in a title, description or text in a language other than the main language no longer shows up as raw text in that language. The import report names it, along with where it appeared and the language.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a field of the old site placed in a blog's name no longer shows up as raw text in the menu, in the posts' tag or in the address of the blog page. The import report names it.
- Shop, price of a product with options: sorting by price in the shop and in collections, on the site as in TOWeb, now ranks such a product by the price it displays. A product shown as "From €49" no longer comes before a €30 product. The editor's Product showcase block and the lists of the Shop screen show this same price ("From", price range or price of the default option, depending on the "Price of a product with options" setting) instead of "Price on request" or the base price. Such a product added to favourites from its page no longer shows €0 when the visitor picks another currency. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Contact form: when the name is asked in two fields, such as "First name" and "Last name", the message received and the acknowledgement of receipt now use both, in the order of the form. Until now only the last name appeared, for example "Hello Smith", and the first name was listed among the other fields. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Multilingual site: two blog tags no longer share the same address in a language other than the main language. A translated tag could take the address of a tag not yet translated, and one of the two tag pages replaced the other. Addresses already in place do not change. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Editor, block settings in the right-hand panel: text typed in a block followed immediately by a click on another block of the same type no longer ends up in that second block. The typed text stays in the block where it was typed, and the second block keeps its content.
- Shop, product feed for Google Shopping: a product's shipping weight is now sent to Google, in kilograms or grams. For a product with options, each option gets its own weight, or else the product's weight plus the weight adjustment of the chosen option. A service or a downloadable file gets none. Republish the site to benefit from it.
- Shop, shipping costs of a product with options: the weight of an option without its own weight now includes the weight adjustment of the chosen option, both at checkout and on the site's server. A size set to "+ 0.25 kg" was until now charged at the product's weight alone. The displayed total and the paid total stay the same. Republish the site to benefit from it.
- Preview: when the preview does not start, TOWeb now says why and what to do, for example a file blocked by the antivirus, missing TOWeb files, a start taking more than 3 minutes, no free local port or a full disk. Until now only the message "Preview server could not start" appeared, whatever the reason.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a backup whose name has no letter or digit, such as "***", now imports. The site takes the name of the backup file, or otherwise "Site importé", which you can change whenever you like. Until now the import failed on an invalid name.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a blog whose name has no letter or digit, such as "★★★", now keeps its tag, named "Blog" (or "Blog 2" if that name is already taken). Until now its posts lost their tag without any notice. The menu keeps the original name, and the import report shows the chosen tag.
- Shop › product page, SEO tab: the former addresses field is now titled "Former addresses of this product", and its help text talks about the product. It used to say "of this page". The same goes for a documentation page, which now talks about the article.
- Forms protected by Cloudflare Turnstile: the site's server now checks that the protection was passed on your site, as it already does for reCAPTCHA. A check passed on another site is refused. Republish the site to benefit from this.
- Shop, new order email received by the seller: it now shows the buyer's company, the chosen shipping method and the billing address when it differs from the shipping address, in addition to the name, email, phone and shipping address. An order paid with PayPal now also records the shipping and billing addresses, which were missing from the email, the online dashboard and the invoice.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.13
October 11, 2026
New
- Support: a new “Attach a backup of my site” box sends your site to support along with your request, so they can see the problem as you see it. The backup is encrypted on your computer before it leaves, and deleted from the server as soon as support has retrieved it, after 48 hours at the latest. It is available in every edition.
- Shop: a site with no active product no longer publishes an empty Shop page. The page, its menu entry and the cart come back on their own with the first active product.
- Bookings: a group larger than each unit (room, table, bedroom, kayak…) is now split across several units, in a single booking. For a group of 10 with rooms for 6, 4 and 2, the visitor picks 10 people: TOWeb offers the free units at the chosen time, with as few units as possible (here 6 + 4), and the total price. The customer receives a single email naming each unit and its number of people, and its cancellation link cancels the whole group. In the management area, each unit appears with the note “Group: unit 1 of 2” and is managed separately. A split stay keeps the same bedrooms for every night. A group that fits in one unit chooses it as before. To make sure a group is never split, set the resource's maximum number of people to the capacity of your largest unit.
- Embed block: PHP code can now run in a page, from the Premium edition, as a .php page allowed in TOWeb 14. The page that contains it is published as index.php, at the same address: links, sitemap and languages stay correct. Before publishing, TOWeb checks the code's syntax: an error stops publishing and names the page and line, instead of putting a broken page online. The code runs on your hosting, under your responsibility, and in the local test; the preview shows a frame in its place. On a password-protected page, it is not published. When publishing, the former version of the page (index.html or index.php) is removed from the server.
- Theme › Typo: a new “My fonts” section lets you add your brand fonts (.woff2, .woff, .ttf or .otf files), from the Premium edition. TOWeb reads the family name, weight and italic from each file: files of one family group themselves, with no code to paste or archive to prepare. Added fonts appear at the top of the heading and text font choices, show right away in the editor, are saved in the site (backups and copies included) and published with it, without relying on any online service. A checkbox confirms that you have the right to use them on a website.
- Embed block: a new “Visitor consent” setting makes the block wait for the visitor's consent in the cookie banner (“Audience measurement” or “Marketing and social media”), as Wix allows. Until then, its scripts and frames do not load and a message takes its place, with a link to manage cookies; as soon as the visitor accepts, the service appears. This works with the TOWeb banner as well as with the WebLegal one. Code kept when importing a TOWeb 14 site is set to “Marketing and social media”.
- Select images: a new “Stock photos” tab offers royalty-free photos (Pexels) you can use for free on your site. Describe what you are looking for, in the site's language: one click on a photo adds it to your media and places it, and in a gallery you can pick several at once. The photographer's name appears on hover. The tab needs an internet connection and a paid edition of TOWeb.
- Header: an announcement bar can appear above the header, on every page, for a short piece of information (opening hours, exceptional closing, free delivery, sale). It is set in the header panel: a text, an optional link to a page or an address, and the choice to let visitors close it. It takes the colours of the site's style and is translated with the rest of the site. Once a visitor closes it, it comes back when the text changes.
- Editor: a new Table of contents block lists the headings of a page, a blog post or a documentation article, with a link to each one. It builds itself from the H2 and H3 headings that follow it (or H2 only), is refreshed at every publication and appears in the language of each page; the links stay the same in every language. On phones it stays collapsed until tapped. In the editor, its card shows the current headings and tells you when no heading follows it: while empty, it is not shown on the site. Add it from the "/" menu or the Add tab (table of contents, contents, toc, outline).
Improvements
- Icons: the icon picker search now understands words in every TOWeb language (“car”, “clock”, “cart”… as well as French, German, Spanish, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese), with or without accents, and the categories are shown in TOWeb's language. It used to know English words only.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site: a site field that contains a widget (a script or a frame, for example a Facebook page or a booking module) and is placed in the text of a brick is now kept in an Embed block, in its place, instead of being removed. Like any Embed block, it is published from the Premium edition. Elsewhere (titles, tables), it is still listed in the import report.
- SEO: the published site also contains a sitemap.xml file, in addition to sitemap-index.xml. A site coming from TOWeb 14 keeps the sitemap address already declared in Google Search Console: nothing to submit again. Publishing also replaces the old sitemap.xml left on the server.
- Header logo: the sizes of an image logo are more generous (32, 44 and 64 pixels high, a little less on phones). “L” now suits a logo that contains text or a tagline. Existing sites keep the logo size they had.
- Custom code of a page, a post or a documentation article ("Code <head>", in the SEO settings): in the Standard edition, a notice now says that it is saved but not published, and from which edition it is, as in the Advanced settings and the Embed block.
- Select images: a search finds an image by its name or by its alt text, ignoring capitals and accents. Images can be sorted from newest to oldest or by name, and the "Unused" filter shows the ones that are not placed anywhere on the site. The search field is ready as soon as the window opens, and ⌘F (Ctrl+F on Windows) brings you back to it. In a gallery, images you have already chosen stay chosen when the search changes. The window also opens faster with a large photo library, and the search in the Media screen now also looks at alt text.
Fixes
- Menu: the “Submenu display” setting of an item (“Dropdown list” or “Column panel”) was not saved, and every change to the menu erased it. It is now saved.
- Footer and header: removing or replacing the background image in the Section tab was not saved, and the old image came back in the preview and when reopening the site. This happened in particular with a background image carried over from a TOWeb 14 site. The change is now saved.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site: a table in which a cell held a small clickable icon to another page (a “Doc” or “Sheet” column, for example) is no longer dropped entirely. The table is kept, and each icon becomes a text link to the same page, named after its column. The import report mentions it.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site: the text of each photo in an album is kept, under the photo, after its title. It used to be left out, and a site that documented each photo lost all its texts.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site: a section placed under a section hidden from the menu stays hidden too, as in TOWeb 14, instead of appearing in the menu or under “More”. A site background image declared in its long form in the theme is now kept as well.
- Bookings: when the visitor changes the number of people after choosing a date, the times offered for that day update right away. A time that no longer suits the group disappears and is no longer selected, instead of being refused only at the last step.
- Embed block: when editing the HTML code in the block's card, each character typed in the middle of the code sent the cursor to the end. The cursor now stays where it is.
- Forms and newsletter sign-up: a site published at an address without “www” (for example monsite.fr) but opened by a visitor with “www” (www.monsite.fr), or the other way round, refused to send with the message “Invalid request origin”. Both addresses are now accepted, and sending from another site is still refused. Just publish the site again.
- Import of a TOWeb 14 site: two links separated by several spaces are no longer stuck together, and the underline no longer runs over the space between them. The import report also explains the “Learn more” section, where the other items of the side column go, and how to rename it or put these items back next to the content.
- Features block with the Botanique, Riviera, Couture, Bauhaus, Sumi and Gazette styles: in the “Cards” and “Bento” layouts, the cards no longer touch each other and keep the same spacing as the other cards of the site. In the layouts without cards (“Icons”, “Centered”, “List”), the fine rule that separates the columns, typical of these styles, now also separates the rows, and the items stacked on a phone. In the “Numbered” layout, the title no longer runs under the number, and with Bauhaus, the geometric shape replaces the icon instead of being added to it.
- Shop: a digital product (a file to download) no longer shows "Tracked shipping", neither on its product page nor during checkout. An order with nothing to deliver no longer mentions a shipping address or shipping method: not in the customer's and merchant's emails, not in the customer area, not in the management area. The billing address stays. An order that mixes files and items to ship is unchanged.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.12
October 9, 2026
New
- Shop: the shop page can present your collections, like a shop window. The "The shop page shows" setting (Shop › General) offers "Products", "Collections" or "Collections, then products". Each non-empty collection gets its own tile, with its image, its name in the page's language and its number of products, in the order of your collections. "Products" remains the default setting: existing shops do not change.
- Shop › Texts: you can replace the most visible texts of your shop with your own, for example "Acquire" instead of "Add to cart", or "Sold" instead of "Out of stock". Fourteen texts are offered (buy button, price, stock, cart, payment, thank-you), with an instant preview. Write them in the site's main language: the other languages are translated with the rest of the site. An empty field keeps the standard text, and "Reset" brings it back.
- Shop: a "Manual order" sort joins the choices for the default product sort (Shop › General). It follows the order of your products, and visitors find it on the site as "Featured". In Shop › Products, products can then be reordered by drag and drop or with the keyboard, and the change can be undone like any other. In another sort, with a filter or in grid view, a message explains how to get there.
- Shop: a "SKU" sort orders products by their reference, in natural order (REF-2 before REF-10). It can be chosen as the default sort of the shop or of a collection, and visitors find it under "Sort by" as soon as a product has a reference.
- Collections: each collection can have its own product order ("Product order", in the collection). By default, it follows the shop's.
- Bookings: the price can depend on the number of guests, as in TOWeb 14 (for example €60 for one person, €75 for two). The grid is filled in on the resource's Pricing tab, and each unit (room, court…) can have its own price and its own grid. Visitors see the total for their group, and that is the amount recorded in the booking.
- Editor: “Copy to a page…” copies a section to one or more other pages of the site, at the top of each page or at the end, above the footer. The command is in the section handle menu and in the Section tab. Every page is offered, even pages that are not in the menu, and a single “Undo” reverts the copy everywhere. Each copy is independent: editing the original does not change it. The header and footer are already shared by the whole site: no need to copy them.
- Editor: the bar that appears over selected text offers a "Text style" list: Text, Heading 1 to 4, Eyebrow and Lead, each shown as it will look. The current style is checked, the choice applies to the paragraph where the cursor is, and the list works with the keyboard. Heading 1 is offered only when the page does not already have its main title. Heading 4, Eyebrow and Lead are also added to the "/" menu.
- Header: the logo image and the site name can be shown side by side, the image on the left and the name on the right, with the logo option “Also show the site name”. The name takes the style's typography, shrinks on phones and also works with the dark mode logo. The option is off by default: existing sites do not change. When importing a TOWeb 14 site whose header showed an image and a title, it is turned on.
- Card grid: a new "Text alignment" setting centers the text of the cards (title, text, meta, price and button), in the editor as on the site. "Left" remains the default: existing grids do not change.
- Your host: one.com joins the list, set up for SFTP. The site folder there depends on the server (often "www" or "httpd.www"): "Test Connection" checks the one you choose.
Improvements
- Embed block: the HTML code is typed directly in the block, with the Code block's highlighting, and the Preview tab shows the result, isolated from TOWeb. A Code block that contains code meant to run offers to become an Embed block, in one click, and the change can be undone. Searching for "html" in the "/" menu or in Add now offers Embed first, which runs the code, before the Code block, which shows it without running it. HTML code pasted into the address field switches the block to "HTML code" mode. After adding a block from Add, the inspector shows the new block instead of the previous one. In the Standard edition, the block's card says that it is not published and from which edition it is.
- Blog and Documentation: the same blocks as pages, including Embed, Newsletter and Booking, with the same editing gestures. ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows) opens the link picker, and a block added from Add goes into the section where the cursor is. A Code block that contains code meant to run also offers to become an Embed block there. Only the Comments / Reviews block is not offered in the documentation.
- Image block: an XS size (150 px at most) joins S, M, L and 100%, for a logo or a badge placed in a section. Left, centre or right alignment stays available, in the editor as on the site, and the image keeps this size on phones.
- Card grid: a card's link is now chosen like the other links in TOWeb. A page of the site, even one not in the menu, which stays correct if it is renamed and in every language, a post, a product, a file or an external address, with opening in a new tab. Addresses already entered remain valid.
- Columns block: clicking in the text of a column opens the block's panel directly, where the proportions are set (50/50, 33/66 or 66/33). Clicking on the first line of a column places the cursor there, the "Columns" tab that selects the block is shown in the interface language, and the block's description in the "/" menu now correctly says two columns.
- Page settings (password, SEO): hovering over a page in the page tree shows a button that opens them directly, and a padlock marks password-protected pages. In the right-hand panel, "Page settings" now heads the breadcrumb, and the Access section now comes right after "Published".
- Preview: the "Edit this page" button takes you back to editing what is shown (a page, a blog post, a product or a documentation article). The Esc key, a second click on "Preview" or ⌘P (Ctrl+P on Windows) do the same. Esc stays with the site while typing in a form or when a window is open in it.
- Collection pages: visitors can change the product order with "Sort by", as on the Shop page. The order chosen for the collection is selected from the start.
- Collection pages and product pages: a breadcrumb leads to the shop and to the product's collection, and search engines receive it too.
- Media library: an imported document (PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OpenDocument…) now has a readable address on the site, for example /media/annual-report.pdf, easier to share and better for search engines, and it is also the name offered when downloading. Documents already imported keep their address.
- Podcasts and videos: .m4a and .aac audio files and .mov videos are recognized. The Media block plays them with a player, in the editor as on the site, and an audio file can now be chosen there just like a video.
- Synced folder: TOWeb also recognizes pCloud (including its P: drive on Windows), Box, MEGA and Synology Drive, and now warns when you open a site stored in a synced folder, not only when you create it. The warning closes with one click and blocks nothing.
- Publish: when the remote folder is a subfolder of the hosting, the site address follows it. With Free it updates by itself; elsewhere, TOWeb suggests the right address in one click, and warns you if the address entered does not match the chosen folder.
- Publish: "Test Connection" now also checks the remote folder. It says clearly when the folder does not exist or is not writable, and points out, without blocking anything, a folder that is empty or does not contain a site yet.
- Publish (FTP and SFTP): after the upload, TOWeb also checks that the site's address really shows the version that was just uploaded. If it still shows the previous one, the upload result says so: the chosen folder is probably not the one your site is served from, and the message explains what to check (at one.com, the folder where the site lives). Publishing is neither blocked nor cancelled, but TOWeb then deletes no old file in that folder. The check needs the site address to be filled in; a password-protected site or an unavailable connection never triggers a warning.
Fixes
- Formatting pasted into a heading or a subheading no longer shows up as code: it becomes italic or bold, or is removed while the text is kept.
- Text pasted into a field of a block (a card, a team member, an FAQ question, a button…) no longer shows formatting in the editor that the site does not display, such as centering: only the text is pasted, and italic, bold and strikethrough stay where they are allowed.
- A block with unexpected data no longer prevents the rest of the page from displaying in the editor: only that block shows a discreet warning, and it can be fixed in the right-hand panel.
- Gallery block: a gallery whose images come from the media library without an original address prevented its page from displaying in the editor; it displays again.
- A button or a card that leads to a page of the site is shown in the right-hand panel as a link to that page, with its title, and no longer as an external address.
- Copy and paste: a block or section copied with ⌘C (Ctrl+C on Windows) and pasted into another page lost some settings, such as a grid variant, the columns of testimonials, the animation of an FAQ or the italics of a hero title. All its settings are now kept, images and links included. A section pasted into the page it came from also gets its own link anchor.
- Create Page: the window fits on the screen. On a site with many pages (a site imported from TOWeb 14, for example), the "Start from an existing page" list pushed the blank page and the templates off the screen: it now has a search field, the blank page comes first, and the window scrolls inside.
- New site: the chip of the chosen business keeps its place in the list and stands out by its colour. It used to move to the front, and another chip ended up under the pointer.
- Media library: a media deleted while it was in use (the header logo, for example) no longer comes back when the site is reopened. Whatever displayed it is cleared along with it: the header shows the site name again, and an image block returns to its empty slot, ready to be filled from the editor. The open editor updates straight away.
- Preview: on first launch, a site's Preview could show an error page instead of the site. It now displays normally, and an affected preview repairs itself.
- Header and footer: the background image chosen in the “Section” tab (“Background image / video”) is now saved and shown on the published site, over the header or footer colour. It used to disappear on reload.
- Header: with an image logo, the small ornament some styles add to the site name (a dot, a symbol) no longer wraps below the image.
- Footer: a link to a file, chosen in the link's "File" tab (a PDF of legal notices or terms of use, for example), now leads to the document on the published site, and the link shows the file name. It used to lead nowhere. When importing a TOWeb 14 site, footer links to files are carried over with their files, and those on the bottom line of the footer form a column of links.
- The site icon is now declared in every page: it also shows for a site published in a subfolder, and in high definition on phone home screens.
- Blog page: in the “List” layout, posts are shown in a centred column, at the reading width of the posts, instead of sitting on the left with a large empty space on the right on a wide screen. On phones, the list uses the full width.
- Settings › Languages: the names of the languages you can add are shown in TOWeb's language, no longer always in French ("Magyar (Hungarian)" in TOWeb in English).
- Style picker: the style names written in French (Botanique, Fait-main, Marbre, Gothique, Constructivisme…) are shown in TOWeb's language (Botanical, Handmade, Marble, Gothic, Constructivism…).
- Publishing to o2switch: the preset note now says that o2switch's screens and emails exist only in French, which is why their names are quoted as they appear.
- Product showcase block: in Manual mode, all the selected products are shown, not just the first four. The Post showcase block follows the same rule. In Collection mode, products are found even when their tag differs in capitals or accents, as on collection pages.
- Shop page: the visitor's "Sort by" choice now sorts the whole catalog, not just the 12 products of the page being shown.
- Collection pages: the image chosen for a collection is shown on its page.
- Collection pages, product pages and checkout page: the back link, the breadcrumb and the checkout page's back button use the name given to the Shop page (for example "Catalog"), in each language, instead of "Shop" or "Back to shop".
- Shop: on a product page, a collection page and the Shop page, the language switcher leads to the same page in the other language, at its translated address. It led to an address that did not exist, and search engines received the same wrong address.
- Product page: every photo in the gallery is shown whole, without being cropped. The frame takes the format of the first photo, and a photo of another format is centred in it, instead of sticking to the top above a large empty space. The thumbnails under the photo stay square.
- Cart on a multilingual site: an item added to the cart in one language is shown in the language of the page being viewed, including the name of the product and its variant, in the cart as well as in the order summary.
- Checkout: when the terms of sale are a page of the site, the "I have read and accept the terms of sale" checkbox now appears in the checkout. It only appeared with an external address. The link leads to the page in the buyer's language, and the order email quotes its full address.
- Checkout on a multilingual site: after paying, or cancelling, the buyer returns to the order page in their own language (/en/checkout/ for English), no longer to the one in the main language, whatever the payment method, including for a site published in a subfolder. The return from several payment methods (French banks, Mollie, Adyen, PayPal after a failure…) led to a page that does not exist: it now also leads to the order page, with the order number.
- Shop: a €0 order (a free digital product, for example) no longer asks for a payment method. The Payment step disappears, the button reads "Place order", and the order is recorded as paid. The download link appears on the thank-you page and in the confirmation email, and the file downloads right away. Until now, the order stayed awaiting payment and the file could not be downloaded. A cart that also contains a paid product still asks for payment.
- SEO: the breadcrumb passed to search engines (product pages, collections, documentation) gives full addresses, with the site's domain name, as Google requires. This needs the site address to be filled in.
- Multilingual site: in the footer, the links to legal documents chosen among the site's pages (terms of sale, privacy…) lead to the page in the language of the page being viewed, no longer always to the main-language one. The same goes for the "Learn more" link of the cookie banner.
- Bookings: on the published site, the total shown to visitors includes seasonal periods, like the amount recorded in the booking.
- Bookings: the summary shows the check-in and check-out times set in the resource, instead of always 14:00 and 11:00. The calendar also respects the minimum and maximum number of nights, and the total no longer appears twice.
- Bookings: the confirmation email, to the customer as well as to the manager, shows the right amount (€150.00 instead of €15,000.00), and the management area shows the amount of each booking. A second booking with the same email address on the same day asks the visitor to confirm again, and the site log no longer records an error with each booking.
- Bookings: time slot buttons no longer announce “null” or “NaN” to screen readers. Each slot gives its time, then the remaining places and the price only when they are known.
- Bookings: the error messages shown to visitors appear in the language of the page, no longer in English: too many requests in a short time, missing name or email address, number of people, expired cancellation link or cancellation too late.
- Multilingual site with bookings: a resource's title, description and unit names (rooms, courts, services), along with its custom labels, are shown translated on each language's page, in the block as well as in the summary. The confirmation email also names the resource and the unit in the customer's language.
- FTP and SFTP publishing: a remote path written with a backslash ("\"), a double slash or a trailing slash is now corrected automatically, and publishing no longer fails before the first upload. An empty path, or one that is just "\", means the connection folder.
- Publish (FTP and SFTP): after the upload, TOWeb reads the server folder back to check that the home page and other uploaded files are really there, at the right size. If not, the publication shows as failed with the steps to follow, instead of reporting a successful upload. The upload result also shows the server folder the files went to.
- Publish over SFTP: a full remote path starting with “/” is accepted outside the login folder as long as that folder exists and can be written to. At one.com, the site is therefore published straight to /customers/…/webroots/www. A folder that cannot be found or is write-protected is clearly reported, the server root “/” is still refused, and the folder picker button goes above the login folder when the server allows it.
- Restore a backup (File menu and Sites screen): you choose where to put the site, and TOWeb creates a new folder named after the site inside it, “My site (2)” if that name is already taken. The chosen folder is never replaced any more: choosing “TOWeb Sites” itself used to move all your sites aside, into an “avant-restauration” folder. The sites folder is offered by default, and the restored site opens straight away.
- Restore a backup from the File menu: a password-protected backup now asks for its password, as it does from the Sites screen, instead of failing. Both paths follow the same steps: password, choice of location, then the restored site opens. A wrong password leaves the field open to try again.
- Licence: the example in the "Invoice number" field shows the full number, with the dash, as it appears on the invoice.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: the shop keeps the product order from TOWeb 14. The default "Recently modified" sort showed it roughly reversed; the import now selects "Manual order".
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: bookings keep their prices by number of guests, and the price of a lodging without units, or of a unit entered in its short form, is no longer imported as €0.
- TOWeb 14 site import: a document (PDF, DOCX, XLSX…) keeps the name under which TOWeb 14 published it, with its extension, instead of an unreadable name. The links in the site and the old TOWeb 14 address, redirected to the new name, lead to the document.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 site: a small image of 150 pixels or less (an icon, a photo beside some text) keeps its size, in XS. It used to come out up to twice as large. Image badges ("SOLD"…) and icons placed at the top of a title or text are also created in XS, so they stay labels rather than illustrations.
- TOWeb 14 site import: the background images of the header and the footer (a frieze repeated across the full width, for example) are carried over as background images of the header and footer, and the title stays readable on top.
- TOWeb 14 site import: the header slideshow keeps the format of its images when they are wider than 16:9, instead of being cropped at the sides.
- TOWeb 14 site import: the side column is no longer rebuilt as two columns, which ended up at the bottom of the page on phones. Each item goes where people look for it: contact details before the form on the Contact page, what applies to the whole site (payment, delivery, links to your pages) in the footer, links to other sites in a “Useful links” section, the rest in “Learn more”, and news at the end of the page, replaced by the latest posts if the site has a blog. The visit counter, today's date and polls are not carried over, and the import report says so.
- Links: opening and then saving a page or a post no longer turns a link with no tab setting into a “new tab” link. In the example site, the link to the Slow coffee gift box opened in a new tab on the published site because of this. A link opens in the same tab unless “Open in new tab” is checked.
- Editor: opening a page, a post or a documentation page no longer changes or saves anything. ⌘Z (Ctrl+Z on Windows) right after opening no longer brings back the page that was shown before.
- Add: after a block is added, the inspector switches to Edit and shows that block, in pages, the blog and the documentation. This is also true of a Callout or Columns, where the cursor goes into the first paragraph, and of a Table, a Divider or an Image placed in the middle of a text. In a post, the Section block no longer adds a second, empty section.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.11
October 8, 2026
New
- Site header: an external link in the menu can now be edited where it is (label, address, opening in a new tab), with the pencil that appears when you hover over the row or with a double-click; it keeps its place and its group, with no need to delete it and create it again. A group can also be renamed with this pencil.
- SEO: the Blog page, the Shop page and the Documentation home now have their own title for Google, their description and their sharing image for social networks, like other pages (Blog and Documentation: Settings button, SEO tab; Shop: Store details). The address of the Shop and the Documentation can also be changed, and old links are redirected automatically.
- Site header and footer: a “Learn more” link opens the documentation article about the menu and the footer. All of TOWeb’s “Learn more” links now lead straight to the right article, in the language of the interface.
- Support: at the top of the form, a panel leads to the documentation and to the most requested articles (menu and footer, sections, colours and fonts, importing a TOWeb 14 site, publishing), in the language of the interface, so you can find the answer before writing.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: your different blogs (the groups ticked “blog”) are brought together in the blog. Each post keeps the tag of its original blog and its keywords, each blog keeps its place in the menu, with an entry leading to the page of its tag, and its old addresses lead there too, in every language.
- Theme › Shapes and rhythm: a new Line height setting, next to the text size, makes text tighter or airier. “Normal” keeps the line height the style sets for its font, and headings follow in the same proportion, in the editor as on the site.
Improvements
- Card grid: each card's title, text, meta, price and button label can now also be edited in the panel, by expanding the card. A newly added card can therefore get a button.
- Card grid: when there are fewer cards than columns, a hint under “Columns” says how many cards to add to fill them.
- Editor: a site variable placed in a text is underlined with dots, and its tooltip shows its value and where to change it (Settings › Advanced › Variables).
- Sections: the Section tab of the right panel now lets you move the section up or down, duplicate it and delete it. The tooltip of the handle between two sections now also says that a click opens these commands.
- Sections: pressing Backspace in an empty section deletes the section. Cmd+Z or Ctrl+Z brings it back.
- Blog posts, documentation and product pages: subheadings now use a reading size taken from the style, more measured than page headings, and the text keeps the style's size and line height, identically in the editor and on the site. The title of a product page follows the same scale.
- Site menu: each entry moves up or down one step with the arrows that appear on hover, like the shop collections. The handle still drags it, including into a group.
Fixes
- Preview: a link or button that leads to a specific section of a page now really takes you there, instead of opening that page at the top; an internal link no longer loads the page twice.
- Shop: when the Shop page has an address other than “shop” (for example “boutique”), the categories in the menu and the links to the shop or its products (buttons, links in the text, sites imported from TOWeb 14) now lead there, instead of ending on a page that cannot be found.
- Pages: the meta title and description entered in a page's SEO settings are always saved, even when moving very quickly from one field to the next (they could seem replaced by the page name after a rename); a character counter is also shown under the meta title.
- TOWeb 14 website import: a page title framed by icons is carried over, with the icon placed above it, small; a row of five or more thumbnails (an image and a title) becomes a grid of cards instead of a stack of giant images; a clickable image (a map of regions or departments) becomes the image followed by the list of its links to your pages; a button in the middle of a sentence stays a link in the sentence, without breaking it.
- Shop: a shop that sells to businesses (prices shown excluding tax) no longer shows “14-day returns” in the trust bar, the “Right of withdrawal” link below the footer, or the legal guarantee notice in Automatic mode: these rights only concern consumers.
- Shop: choosing “Never” for the legal guarantee notice is now saved; it no longer goes back to “Automatic” after you switch pages.
- Shop: the “Recently viewed” block on a product page no longer shows a product that was deleted or taken off sale, which appeared with a missing image and led to a page that could not be found.
- Importing a multilingual TOWeb 14 site: blog posts now arrive with their translations, like pages; a paragraph split differently from one language to another no longer receives its neighbour's translation, it is left to be translated.
- Image galleries: on the site, each image now shows its caption, translated into each language, instead of its alternative text (which is still read by search engines and screen readers).
- Site header: once turned off, the “Sub-menus” switch in Menu settings really removes the drop-down menus, on the site as well as in the Preview and the mobile menu; each entry becomes a simple link (a group leads to its first page). Turned back on, it restores the sub-menus as they were.
- Publishing: with a host that already handles HTTPS itself (proxy or CDN), the site no longer loops on redirects (“too many redirects”) and stays reachable after every publication. The new “Redirect visitors to HTTPS” setting (Settings › Advanced) turns this redirect off if needed, and both the server test and the online check now clearly name a redirect loop.
- Shop: the cart and its "Checkout" button no longer appear when nothing is for sale (all products in draft) or in catalogue mode, including on blog and documentation pages; they led to a checkout page that did not exist.
- Bookings: the number of spots shown under each time slot is the number still available, no longer the slot's total capacity.
- Help: installing the site as an app now points to the right place to choose its icon (the icon square to the left of the site name, in Project), and the help for the maximum number of people in a booking now refers to the Options tab.
- Preview: after a change that affects many pages at once (menu, footer, style), the Preview no longer keeps the processor busy for several minutes; on a large site, it settles down again within seconds and uses much less memory.
- Bookings: a long time slot is no longer wrongly refused when the bookings it crosses do not take place at the same time (for example, with 2 places, one booking from 9:00 to 9:30 and another from 10:00 to 10:30 leave an appointment from 9:00 to 10:30 free); the site counts the places actually taken at each moment, both when showing availability and when booking, without ever selling one place too many.
- Bookings: in the Preview, the calendar follows the resource's real opening hours (opening days, start times, closed dates, booking notice and horizon, full capacity) instead of randomly drawn availability, and a note states that this is sample availability: the real one is calculated on the published site.
- Bookings: the durations offered to visitors (for example 30, 60 and 90 min) can be set in the resource's Schedule tab: add, remove, reorder them and choose the preselected one; a “Show remaining spots” switch (Options tab) hides or shows the number of spots under each time slot. On the site, an offered duration longer than the first one is no longer refused at booking time, and the summary shows the price of the chosen duration.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: the stock of each product option is carried over. A sold original artwork stays on display but can no longer be bought, a one-of-a-kind piece sells only once, and a limited edition keeps its number of copies.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: the Google Analytics ID found in the code of your pages is carried over into Settings › Tracking & Analytics, and verification tags (Search Console, Bing, Pinterest) are now always saved there.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: a page named “Blog”, “Shop” or “Checkout” no longer takes the address reserved for the blog, the shop or the checkout; both remain reachable.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 backup: when the file name is a date or “backup”, the imported website takes the website’s title instead of that name.
- Warm Artisan style: the shadow of images now sits beneath the image, in the website’s own tone, instead of a light brown halo all around it.
- Import report: the number of portals carried over as pages is accurate.
- Importing a multilingual TOWeb 14 website: the old address of a blog post in a language other than the main one now leads to the post.
- Multilingual blog: a tag not yet translated whose address is already used by a post gets its own address, and both pages remain reachable.
- Blog posts and products: the social sharing title and description, as well as a post's search engine title, are now published, in every language of the website.
- Headings: in blog posts, the documentation and product pages, heading sizes now follow the style chosen in the Theme, just like in the editor. They used to be fixed on the site, where a heading looked smaller than while editing.
- Card grid: the field for a card's address is now called “Card link” instead of “Button label”.
- Footer: a column or a social link dragged in the panel and then dropped onto the page no longer leaves a meaningless code there.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: a field from the old website that is not carried over (for example a notice read live from another service) no longer shows up as raw text on the page; the import report names it, along with the page where it appeared.
- Importing a TOWeb 14 website: the ribbons (“Original”, “Sold out”…) and badge images (a “Sold” stamp…) placed on product and page pictures are carried over at the top of their text, the ribbon in bold and the badge as a small image, instead of being lost.
- Importing a multilingual TOWeb 14 site: image alternative texts translated in the TOWeb 14 media library are now carried over in each language.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.10
October 7, 2026
New
- Posts and products are ready for Google Discover: a large share image (1200 × 630 px, never enlarging a smaller picture), structured-data images as full, large addresses, and large previews allowed on indexed pages.
- Shop: for a product whose stock is tracked, the choice “When out of stock” (Show as out of stock, Hide product, Allow backorders). “Hide product” removes the sold-out product from the shop, collections, showcases, search and sitemap at the next publication; its page stays reachable by a link. By default, a sold-out product stays shown as out of stock.
- Settings › General: a “Your business” section (legal name, address, company registration number, phone, e-mail) describes your business to Google and AI assistants, in the site's structured data. It replaces the “Contact details” section, which saved nothing.
- Footer: in a “Text” column, a phone number becomes clickable (direct call on mobile), as does an e-mail or web address, without changing how you type it.
- In a link, you can choose a blog post or a product (“Post” and “Product” tabs of the picker); the link follows the post in every language and is cleanly removed if it is unpublished.
- Two new site languages: Arabic and Hebrew. Cart, checkout, forms, bookings, customer e-mails and the management area are translated, and the site reads from right to left.
- The Blog page can have a description, shown under its title and used by Google (Blog › Index page settings).
- Each blog post now publishes its structured information (title, summary, date, author, image), the kind Google and AI assistants read.
- The Keywords field is removed from SEO settings, and importing a TOWeb 14 site no longer brings them over: Google has ignored them since 2009 and Bing uses them to spot spam.
Fixes
- Menu: a page can be dragged into a group that sits inside another group (for example “Reports › 2026”), as the published site can display it; a dragged group takes its pages along, never beyond three levels.
- Preview: a change to the menu or the footer now appears on every page, not only on the one open in the editor.
- Shop: the stock quantity entered in a product is now taken into account (sold out shown, purchase refused beyond it, stock reduced with each sale); a one-of-a-kind item can no longer be sold twice.
- Multilingual sites: the home page is no longer redirected to another language based on the visitor’s browser (Google thought it had moved and stopped indexing it); only a language the visitor chooses is remembered. 404 pages are no longer in the sitemap.
- TOWeb 14 site import: mega-menus become drop-down menus with all their links (a site whose pages were only reachable through them kept nothing but “Home”), and files opened from an image or a paragraph title (PDF, GPX…) are imported instead of losing their link.
- Preview: an unreadable product page (for example after importing an old site) no longer stops the whole preview from starting; only that page is skipped. Publishing remains blocked until the product is repaired.
- Server test: when the host filters automated visits (SiteGround, Cloudflare or Imunify360 bot protection), the test says so and no longer wrongly concludes that PHP features are not enabled.
- Wording: “product” always means what you sell (shop, catalogue, cart, import report), “post” what you publish in the blog.
- Multilingual sites: after a publication or a local test, the preview of secondary languages (“/en/…”) no longer crashes on a missing file.
- Publishing to OVHcloud, o2switch or Hostinger: a site set to SFTP is no longer told to switch back to FTP (SFTP, available depending on the plan, is the safest), and the OVH note says when to prefer SFTP and not to tick FTPS with FTP.
- Connection test: an FTP server that refuses encryption (FTPS), such as OVHcloud shared hosting, is explained in plain words with what to do, instead of “500 This security scheme is not implemented”.
- The blog post editor shows the same text width as the published site, instead of spreading it across the full width.
- Footer: the links of a column can be reordered by drag and drop, with the mouse or the keyboard.
- Site legal documents (Settings › Cookies): a “Choose a page” menu fills in each document's address, without typing it.
- The Team block no longer disappears from the editor when a member has no social networks.
- A product with options now shows “From” the price of its cheapest option instead of 0.00, and an item without a price shows “Price on request”, with no buy button.
- TOWeb 14 site import: code pasted into a brick's text (widget, map, calculator, webcam) is kept in an Embed block instead of being removed.
- TOWeb 14 site import: Google, Bing and Pinterest verification tags are kept in Settings › Tracking & Analytics, and the report names the pages whose header code is not kept.
- The first publication of a site to a server now asks for confirmation: it replaces what is online at that address, for example your previous TOWeb 14 site.
- TOWeb 14 site import: a three-level menu no longer spills into a list of every section; entries moved into “More…” stay on a single level there, and a large dropdown menu scrolls instead of covering the page.
- TOWeb 14 site import: pages that were not in its menu (a third level of sections, for example) stay out of the menu, instead of piling up as rows of links after “More…”.
- Shop › Collections: a collection's name now shows on two lines instead of being cut off.
- In the editor, the Product showcase block shows prices as the published site does: none in catalog mode, “From” and “Price on request” otherwise.
- Sites in Arabic, Hebrew and other right-to-left languages: a site name, a post tag or a collection in these scripts is accepted and gets a valid address, prices and short labels are no longer jumbled, and quotes in a post have their bar on the correct side.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.9
October 6, 2026
New
- Catalog mode (Shop › Store details): your products are shown without prices or purchasing, like a catalog, with their product pages, references, photos and categories. Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site whose catalog had no prices turns it on automatically.
- You can duplicate a site from the Your sites screen (the “…” menu of a card): TOWeb suggests a name, shows how much space the copy will take, and the copy has no publishing destination, so it never replaces the live site.
Improvements
- When importing a site from TOWeb 14 or earlier, the report now flags the header title and slogan that TOWeb 15 does not display, and explains how to bring them back.
- When importing a site from TOWeb 14 or earlier, the report now also flags styling pasted as code into a brick’s text: the text is carried over, and the report explains how to get the layout back.
- When publishing, TOWeb now only replaces its own part of the server’s .htaccess file: rules added by you or your host (redirects, PHP version…) are kept.
- On the published site, Google’s anti-spam check (reCAPTCHA) only loads once the visitor starts filling in a form.
- The Mac installer is lighter: it no longer carries image tools meant for other systems.
- The published site search also finds words in the text of pages, posts and documentation, not only in titles.
Fixes
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site no longer shows “{CRLF}” or “[CRLF]” in product descriptions: they become line breaks.
- Removing an old link to the shop or the blog from the menu now also removes the matching page entry, instead of seeing it reappear immediately.
- A page’s old addresses (entered in its settings or carried over when importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site) redirect to the page again, which preserves search rankings: if you have already published an imported site, publish it once more after the update.
- The home page now shows its real name in the page list, and can be renamed like any other page.
- Removing the site logo now really removes it: the site name is shown in its place in the header.
- In the Team block, the photo of a member who has a link keeps its size on the published site, instead of taking up the full width.
- In the Team block, “Open in a new tab” is respected for a member’s link, and their social networks (LinkedIn, Facebook…) show on the published site.
- Footer links are chosen with the usual link picker (page, section, address, email…), and a link to a page shows up there instead of an empty field.
- The windows for choosing a file or folder reopen in the last folder used, instead of “Downloads”.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site carries over the search engine title and description of blog posts.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site reports code pasted into a page's text (a widget, frame or script from another service), which is not carried over, and explains how to bring it back with the “Embed” block.
- The example site ("Explore an example") shows the product photos in the shop and in the media library, instead of icons; the same goes for a site copied without its thumbnails.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.8
October 5, 2026
New
- New “Embed” block (/embed): a webcam, a review widget, a calendar or a weather service can be placed anywhere on the page, by its address or by the HTML code the service provides (from the Premium edition).
- With Google Analytics, the site sends the useful events by itself, once the visitor agrees: product viewed, added to cart, checkout started, purchase (with its amount), contact form sent, booking confirmed, click on an email address or phone number, and installer download (Mac .dmg included).
Improvements
- In the Team block, each member can lead to their own page: their photo and name become clickable.
- Shop: product thumbnails can show the whole image instead of a cropped square (Shop › General), ideal for sleeves, cassettes or posters.
- On the published site, an animation only starts as it nears the screen: pages with several of them respond faster when loading, especially on mobile.
Fixes
- In bookings, the base price is entered in your currency's units (it was entered in cents).
- On a product page, the reassurance strip only shows “Secure payment” when an online payment method is active (not for bank transfer alone), and the “Customer service” mention, which led nowhere, is removed.
- In the editor, the hint text of form fields is now labelled in TOWeb's language.
- The emoji picker no longer opens at every colon typed in the text: it appears when you type a colon followed by the first letters of an emoji (“:su” for the sun).
- In settings, an image preview (share image, cover…) shows the whole image, sharp, instead of an enlarged and cropped central square.
- Renaming a page from the page list (pencil) shows what you type again, even when its address is long.
- In the Hero block, each button's text and destination are set in the right panel, with the usual link picker (page, section, email…), and a new button starts in TOWeb's language.
- The shop's "Show tax incl. or tax excl. mention" setting is respected: when it is off, prices including tax show no mention; a price excluding tax always keeps its own.
- The search engine title entered in a product's SEO tab is now the one used on its published page.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps the alignment of blog post titles: a centred title stays centred.
- An order containing only digital products or services (a PDF, a ticket, a donation) no longer asks for a postal address: email, name and country are enough.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps each image's alternative text (alt) in pages and posts, not only in the media library.
- A post imported from a TOWeb 5 to 14 site without a publication date takes the creation date of its content, instead of the date of the import.
- Removing a section's background image also restores the text colour: it no longer stays white, and therefore invisible, on the section's background.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.7
October 4, 2026
New
- A section can have a fixed background again: the image stays still while the content scrolls, on iPhone and iPad too.
- Two new styles: Chai, the cellar and the terroir (wine red, wine labels, warm dark), for winemakers, wine shops, guesthouses and restaurants; and Zellige, Moorish geometry (Fez blue, emerald, saffron, eight-pointed stars), which also writes Arabic.
- A form can take visitors to a page of your choice once their message is sent, for example a thank-you page, instead of showing a message; importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps this page.
Improvements
- When publishing, TOWeb no longer has pages, posts and products still in draft translated: publishing is faster and uses less of your AI quota. They will be translated when you publish them.
- The media library accepts any file to download, such as an installer or an archive: you offer it as a link on a page, like a PDF, and its address keeps a readable name.
Fixes
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps its side column (headlines, for example) next to the page text, instead of stacking it at the top when the page also has a banner or a grid.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site recognises its blog, even when it sits in an article group: its posts become blog posts, and writing a new one no longer creates a second blog.
- A button that leads to a specific section of a page keeps that section: on the site, it no longer opens the top of the page.
- Typing in block settings no longer loses characters when you type fast (for example the message shown after a form is sent).
- In a product's SEO tab, the title and description for search engines can be entered again.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site now keeps the files offered for download (installers, archives…), and their former addresses still lead to the file.
- Home stays in the menu: it no longer disappears when importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site, or when you add it back from the menu editor.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps its multi-level submenus, in the TOWeb 14 order, including a drop-down menu with a single page.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site puts its articles in their submenu, instead of leaving them at the top level of the menu.
- A large multi-column drop-down menu reads without overlap: its columns wrap onto a new row instead of running off the screen.
- On a multilingual site, footer links keep their translated label, even when the same word appears elsewhere on the site.
- In the page list, each page's title stays visible, even when its address is long.
- Clicking the header, a carousel or an image reopens the settings panel when it was collapsed.
- A page imported from a TOWeb 14 site without a readable name takes a title based on its address.
- The header's empty menu now shows in TOWeb's language and explains how to add pages to it.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.6
October 3, 2026
Improvements
- With the cloud AI, translation at publication groups texts together: it is faster and uses far less of your AI quota.
- When publishing, if many texts need translating with the AI on your computer, TOWeb shows how long it will take and offers to publish without waiting.
- On the License screen, each edition also shows the upgrade price for TOWeb 14 and earlier customers; one click opens the place to enter your invoice.
- With many TOWeb 5 to 14 sites on the computer, the Sites screen offers search and sorting (recently modified, name, version), and shows names in full.
- A section can also be duplicated from the right panel: Section tab › Duplicate section.
- Help › Open the TOWeb Log opens the file where TOWeb records its activity, to find an error and send it to support.
- During a publication, the site's automatic translation shows its progress (language, texts translated), and “Cancel” stops it: the bar no longer freezes at 15%.
- The report shown when publishing separates its sections more clearly: a stronger heading, the affected pages indented, a rule between two sections.
Fixes
- An imported page with a button that no longer has a link (it pointed to a deleted page) now opens normally in the editor instead of showing an error.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site fixes buttons still pointing to a Lauyan template's demo link: they now lead where the photo of the same paragraph leads.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps the catalogs in its drop-down menus: each one leads to its own shop collection, under its original name.
- On iPads and iPhones running iOS 17, cards in grids (features, pricing, testimonials, team) keep their height and no longer spill over the next section.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site keeps the click action of images: a link to a page or a site, or enlarging.
- The import keeps the links and buttons placed in a paragraph title, such as an A to Z alphabet bar.
- Importing a shop respects items without VAT, and keeps the PayPal payment method, to reactivate with its keys.
- A published site now displays correctly on iPads and iPhones running iOS 17 and on older browsers: the theme colors were not recognized there, and pages looked black or washed out.
- An image set to “Link” on click now leads to the chosen address on the published site.
- A block added from the “Add” panel now goes into the selected section, instead of landing at the bottom of the page.
- A duplicated section has its own anchor: a link to the original section no longer lands on its copy.
- On a published site, animated content always shows: on some devices (an iPad with a VPN, for example), a resource that never finished loading left the pages black apart from the header.
- A TOWeb 5 to 14 site whose search engine was enabled keeps site search after the import.
- The “a publication is already in progress” message is shown in your language.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site picks the same home page as TOWeb 14: the first one in the menu, not a page named “home” placed further down.
- In the Header panel, the logo image no longer hides the menu editor.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site no longer shows “{CRLF}” in a menu label written on two lines.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.5
October 1, 2026
New
- In the Sites screen, “Explore an example” opens a copy of a complete site (shop, bookings, blog, documentation) so you can see how everything is done.
Improvements
- On macOS 26 and later, the TOWeb icon adopts Apple's new style in the Dock.
- In Italian, TOWeb now addresses you informally (“tu”) everywhere, consistently.
- Help › Release Notes opens the history of what's new in TOWeb.
- A link to another site can point to a different address depending on the page's language: each version of your site leads to the right page.
- “About TOWeb” shows the build number next to the version, and support receives it with every request.
- “Report a Problem” now also accepts PDF documents as attachments.
Fixes
- The “update ready” notification is in your language and in TOWeb's name.
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site now carries over its publishing settings: site address, server, user name and password.
- The SSH server verification window shown on first connection is in your language.
- Importing a site opened in several successive versions of TOWeb now reads its latest state, not an old copy left in its folder.
- An imported site keeps its TOWeb 14 name instead of taking the name of the template it started from (for example “blanksite”).
- Importing a TOWeb 5 to 14 site now keeps its drop-down menus: sections that shared the same group name are grouped under that name again.
- A TOWeb 5 to 14 site's “per page” header slideshow now gets back every page's images: some appeared nowhere.
- A TOWeb 5 to 14 site whose home page sits inside the blog keeps its home page, instead of turning it into a post and leaving the home page empty.
- On an Intel Mac, a video's preview image is created automatically again.
- On Windows, a save briefly blocked by an antivirus or OneDrive is retried instead of failing, and the closing window states the real cause of a failure.
- On Windows, if folder protection or an antivirus prevents TOWeb from saving a site, TOWeb says so as soon as the site is opened and explains how to allow it.
- If the Trash refuses a site you are deleting, TOWeb tries again, then offers to delete it permanently instead of failing.
- On Windows, TOWeb no longer keeps a site's images open after importing or displaying them: a closed site can be deleted without quitting TOWeb.
- In a documentation menu, a chapter title opens its page directly instead of appearing twice.
- A footer link to a specific section of a page now goes straight to it, instead of opening the top of the page.
TOWeb 15.0.0-beta.4
October 1, 2026
- Share buttons under every blog post.
- The release notes can be read in TOWeb, and what's new is shown after each update.
- Legal documents open in a new tab.
- Every heading in a blog post has its own direct link, just like on pages.
- The Italian interface keeps the same tone throughout.
- Help › Report a Problem opens the built-in support, and TOWeb Help opens the documentation in your language.
- Adding a section to a multilingual page no longer mixes up the translations of the following sections.
- Going back to an earlier version of the site also restores its translations.
