On October 1, we opened early access to TOWeb 15. Since then, you have tried it with your own site, written to us, lent us your backups for our tests and asked questions. Here is where TOWeb 15 stands today, what your feedback has changed, and what it can do for you.

First of all, thank you

Completely rewritten software doesn't become stable on test sites, but on yours. In two weeks, your messages and the backups you lent us for our tests revealed cases we would never have come across on our own. Every fix benefits everyone: updates install themselves when TOWeb starts, without losing any of your work.

The web TOWeb 15 is designed for

One figure explains many of our choices. In France, 53% of web visits are made on a smartphone, versus 44% on a computer (StatCounter, September 2026). Worldwide, it's 59%.

TOWeb 15 starts from there. Your pages are designed for the phone first. Your site can follow each visitor's light or dark setting: styles designed for both modes switch by themselves, with colors chosen for each mode. And your pages describe your products, your blog posts and your business in a format that Google and AI assistants read directly.

“TOWeb 15 has fewer settings”: yes, and that's good news

It's the question we hear most often, especially from those who have known TOWeb for years.

Every setting removed is a decision the style makes for you, tested on phones, for readability. You choose a style and its hue. Each section picks its palette. The word you put in italics takes the accent color. From one page to the next, everything stays harmonious, without you having to think about it.

What you gain:

  • For Google and AI assistants: clean, consistent code, the same from one page to the next. Search engines read the structure of your pages without getting lost in formatting added piece by piece.
  • For speed: fewer settings means less code to load. Your pages display quickly, even on a phone.
  • For the future of your site: a more stable site that can grow with you. Because the layout comes from the style, you can change it or benefit from new versions without your pages falling out of shape.
  • For your visitors: a harmonious, consistent site that is easy to read. The eye isn't pulled in every direction by a “Christmas tree” design; it stays on what matters: your content.

Fewer settings doesn't mean less beautiful or less original sites. Look at these four demo sites: same software, same way of working, four different worlds.

The time you no longer spend harmonizing twenty pages by hand comes back to your visitors in another form: a site that can be browsed with the keyboard, with skip links, form labels and image descriptions. The sites produced have been audited according to WCAG 2.2, level AA, and every version is checked automatically.

TOWeb 15 in one minute

What TOWeb 15 solves for you

Not a list of features: concrete problems, and what TOWeb 15 does about them.

Selling online without losing customers along the way. Checkout takes four clear steps: address, shipping, payment, summary. The browser fills in the fields it knows, and customers can buy without creating an account: fewer abandoned carts. Prices, VAT and shipping costs are recalculated by your server at payment time: a price changed in the browser doesn't get through. More than twenty payment methods are built in (Stripe, PayPal, Mollie, PayPlug, French banks…), plus cash on delivery and in-store pickup, with no platform subscription and no commission for TOWeb. Pickup points (Mondial Relay, InPost, DHL), shipping by zone, weight or order amount, shipping costs passed on to Google Shopping. Your customers find their orders and downloads in their customer account, with no password to remember: a link by e-mail is enough.

Taking bookings without spreadsheets or phone calls. Time slots for a restaurant, treatments or classes; nights for a holiday cottage or a room. A group larger than one table or room is spread over several units. Rates follow the seasons, weekends or the number of guests. And your calendars sync both ways with Airbnb, Booking or Google (iCal): no more double bookings.

Getting found, by Google and AI assistants alike. Structured data for your products (shipping included), your blog posts and your business; translated addresses with their language tags; a multilingual sitemap; automatic redirects when an address changes.

A fast site. Static pages, with no database to query. Images converted to WebP and served at the size of the screen. Fonts hosted on your own site.

Playing by the rules without spending your evenings on it. Analytics, YouTube and Vimeo videos and Google Maps wait for the visitor's consent; the consent banner is built in (WebLegal.ai). And accessibility comes as standard.

Saving time, at every step. AI is included: a whole page from a single sentence, polished texts, product descriptions, SEO, translation of the site. It works where you decide: in the Lauyan cloud, on your computer, or with your own API key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Mistral). Each language has its own addresses, images and videos, and a banner offers visitors their language. When you publish, only the modified files are sent (FTP, FTPS, SFTP or folder), and your site stays with the host of your choice. Mac and Windows: same software, same license.

For experts: the Studio edition now includes an MCP server, to drive TOWeb from a coding assistant such as Claude Code, Cursor or Codex. Find out more.

The details are on the What’s new page and in the release notes.

“Will my site make it?” Yes, as is, or nearly

This is the improvement that owes the most to your backups. Importing TOWeb sites, from versions 5 to 14, brings over your pages, images, products, blog posts and translations. Your .wga backup imports directly. Your old addresses are kept and redirected: your visitors and Google find their way. Your blogs are merged. Your shop comes along, with its variants, stock and shipping options.

Your handmade creations too: on a customer's site with 35 hand-written calculators, 34 are carried over as they are.

And your TOWeb 14 site stays intact: the import works on a copy. To find your way around, the Moving from TOWeb 14 to TOWeb 15 page explains where everything has gone.

Do you have TOWeb 13 or an earlier version? TOWeb 14 comes free with TOWeb 15
