05/05/2008 - TOWeb version 2.54

• improvement : two new smiley styles (Box and Baby) have been added and are available from the Theme step
• bugfix : the option named "open the URL of this external website inside a new browser window" available for external website topics was not applicable per topic but for every topics and was not working when added inside a submenu
• bugfix : the "copy an existing topic" feature accessible from the "add a new topic" button was not working correctly if the topic was placed inside a group
• bugfix : the translation of the single choice lists (radio button texts) as well as multiple choice lists (check box texts) inside a form was not possible as these texts were not displayed in the "translate your website texts" window ( "Start" > "Languages" )
• bugfix : the file extension change of a topic index name (eg. from index.html to index.php) was not applicable to all the web pages of an album or a catalog but only to its main index pages

04/18/2008 - TOWeb version 2.53

• improvement : topics created with the type "external website" have now a new option to open their URL inside a new window of the web browser instead of using the one of your website. This option named "Open the URL of this external website inside a new web browser window" is located under the "Design and layout" tab
• bufix : under some circonstances a missing image represented by a red X icon may have been displayed on the left part of the banner when the website was viewed using the Internet Explorer web browser
• bugfix : the .htaccess web page protection on topics may have missed some user accounts and passwords especially if more than one hundred users were defined
• bugfix : it was previously possible to add an item with a 0 (zero) quantity to the shopping cart. The item quantity is now checked and can't be added if not greater or equal to 1
• bugfix : links to external sites were containing errors preventing these websites to open correctly when used with the [[ ]] notation
• bugfix : the external website topics are no longer displayed into the list of topic links. To create a link to an external website inside a paragraph the option "create a link to : Another website" should now be used instead

03/14/2008 - TOWeb version 2.52

• improvement : the website open function has been optimized and reduce the time to open the last modified website
• improvement : the computer shutdown option is now present in the Publish step if you want your computer to shutdown after a successful transfer of your website files. This option is still present also at the bottom of the screen during the publishing in case you change your mind
• improvement : better detection of the favicon for Internet Explorer and Firefox
• bugfix : links containing bookmarks were not working correctly with the Firefox web browser
• bugfix : links containing a request (with a "?" character) in the URL were not working correctly if parameter's names or values on it were case sensitive
• bugfix : in the window accessible from the topic's button named "Modify the directory and index filename" was containing some texts not correctly placed and the displayed information were only partially visible

02/22/2008 - TOWeb version 2.51

• improvement : if you want the local search engine of your website to ignore a particular topic then a new feature allow you to do this from the link named "Modify the directory and index file name of this topic" located at the bottom of each Topic's general tab
• improvement : the preview button of the shopping cart content is only present by default on catalogs. But a new predefined field named %TW-SHOPCART% can now be added into any text in order to display this button anywhere you need to, like for for instance inside the introduction of a catalogues' group or into a panel of your homepage
• bugfix : Flash animation placed inside a topic were always displayed on the foreground and were partially hiding the popup submenus of your website's menu
• bugfix : the "bookmark this website" button may have bookmarked incorrect URLs

01/18/2008 - TOWeb version 2.50

• improvement : in the "Publish" step a new option "Fast changes detection" is now available when selecting the action "Publish changes only". Activating this option will speed up the transfer of your website on your host server
• improvement : in the image editor a "Rotation" feature is now available under the "Add a frame" tab. This might be useful to create an design effect on your images or to adjust any non horizontal pictures
• improvement : the "favorite themes” have been renamed "template themes" and TOWeb now proposes by default a list of few predefined themes that may be used as is for your website or customized thereafter using the usual features of the TOWeb's Theme step
• improvement : support of new character sets in the step : "Start" > "Languages"
• improvement : the TOWeb install procedure has been improved for better Windows Vista compatibility
• bugfix : some parameters were missing in the sitemap file generated by TOWeb and this was causing errors for Google and online validator tools
• bugfix : the backup function failed to archive if the backup file was greater than 2 GB

12/28/2007 - TOWeb version 2.08

• bugfix : result links found by the local search engine may have pointed to incorrect web page
• improvement : hidden fields can now be added to a form. This might be useful if you want to receive additional information sent by your form non visible by your visitors or if you use a action script for your form that requires additional parameters to be set as hidden
• improvement : automatic correction of <head> sections (step "Settings" > "HTML") containing incorrect data (a <body> tag for instance). An incorrect <head> section may penalize your search engine referencing
• improvement : with some hosts, the publication resume function could fail after error
• improvement : some image editor treatments have been optimized (cropping and text)

12/17/2007 - TOWeb version 2.07

• bugfix : the installation of the previous version 2.06 may have initialized shipping prices to wrong values resulting in errors in the total amount of orders from your website. If you were using version 2.06 you need to publish your website again after installing this 2.07 update
• bugfix : the import contact feature located in the "Publish" step of TOWeb was not always detecting the MS Outlook or the Vista WinMail application resulting in the display of an empty contact list
• bugfix : when the form name size was greater than 1000 characters, a thousand separator characters was added and the OK button of the dialog was no longer accessible
• improvement : maximum width and height of external website links using the integrated option are now enlarged to 1024×1600 pixels instead 640×800 pixels
• improvement : a computer shutdown option is now available at the bottom the screen during the file transfer to your web space. This option may be useful for a big website that takes hours to publish and if you don't want your computer to stay up and running thereafter. If the publication fails your computer will not be shutdown. As you computer will be automatically shutdowned, make sure you don't have any other application running with unsaved data before to use this feature !

11/30/2007 - TOWeb version 2.06

• bugfix : backups were possible without indicating any archive file name preventing both the access and the restore features of such archive files
• bugfix : links to download files were opened in the same window of web browsers. Such links are now opened into a new window in order to keep visitors on your website after they close any document file opened from your website
• bugfix : the link tab in TOWeb could have been displayed in some paragraphs or catalogues even when no links were used
• bugfix : some non-defined or non-used links could have been still present in some web page paragraphs
• bugfix : adding a sub-product (size, color, type) to a catalog item was not possible after deleting all sub-products of a list

• bugfix : IMPORTANT (e-Commerce edition) : due to a recent change of Paypal in language code, website using the multilingual options were displaying a Paypal error message. To fix this and have the PayPal payment working on your website you need to publish again your website after installing this version

• bugfix : the website publication could have failed after 99 reconnect attempts when an error was detected on the host web space and when the option "Publish entire site" was used
• bugfix : the use of some "Special files & folders" could have prevented the publication of websites
• bugfix : a "=" (equal) sign was wrongly added by TOWeb to the list of passwords when using the .htaccess protection and access to such protected topics was not possible

• bugfix : single selection lists (radiobuttons) in the forms were not working properly causing multiple selections when checked
• bugfix : the Paypal payment was not working when using the Great Britain Pound (GBP) currency due to a “GPB” typo. If you where using this currency for Paypal on your website you need to click on the “payment modes” button located in the e-Commerce screen and then reselect the correct “GBP” currency from the list located under the “payment script” tab of your Paypal payment before to publish again your website

• bugfix : the copy/paste menu is now available in the translation dialog for a multilingual websites

• bugfix : click on a paragraph's image to enlarge it in a new window was not working under FireFox Mozilla when using the security option to disable the right click on images

07/31/2007 - TOWeb version 2.02

• bugfix : images using the EMF or WMF format were causing an error when added to a paragraph
• bugfix : the additional shipping prices depending on countries were replaced by the default ones just after the order form was submitted on a e-Commerce website
• bugfix : the SiteMap file generated by TOWeb was not containing the html filename but only the directory path, causing referencing issue to robots if you have modified the name of your default web pages
• bugfix : paragraph titles containing bookmark names (example: ##bookmark1##My title 1) could not been correctly translated in multilingual websites
• bugfix : the translation of the form labels and buttons were not used in a multilingual website
• bugfix : not all the types of download file types added to your website were accepted

The form fields labels are not concerned by this and can still use any type of characters
• improvement : the RSS files generated by TOWeb are now automatically detected by RSS reader and web browsers such as MS Internet Explorer 7. This will allow your visitors to directly use the RSS reader tool they use instead of necessarily click on the RSS icon of your website
• improvement : the archive function of TOWeb has been improved to mane smaller archive file. If your website contains many images the size of the archive can be up to 50% smaller

06/29/2007 - TOWeb version 2.01

• bugfix : the list of shipping price limits and comparisons were not displayed correctly : instead of having conditions such as "If the order weight is > X then the amount is = Y" the list was wrongly displaying the opposite comparison :  "If the order weight is < X then the amount is = Y". If you are using shipping prices depending on the order weight and have entered your limits and amounts you will need to update them according to the right comparison
• bugfix : the right-click menu was not working on the TOWeb script fields and copy/paste in here where only possible using the CTRL+C and CTRL+V shortcuts instead
• bigfix : the topic password control was sometime disabled, preventing any modification of it without closing and restarting TOWeb
• bugfix : login access using the .htaccess files may have not worked properly creating and uploading empty password files
• bugfix : musical websites may not have worked (no music played and no on/off buton) when published but only working locally when previewed
• bugfix : some texts in e-Commerce website using the multi-languages features were not accessible and not possible to translate in a different language than the main language of the website
• bugfix : web address links entered inside a text as well as links using [[ ]] where not opened in a new window of the web browser but inside the same window
