How to manage shipping fees depending on the order's weight or amount ? |
Check the option: use shipping prices located in the screen Setting > Shopcart & Shipments and then click the Shipments. For each shipment added you will be able to entered different delivery prices depending on the value of total weight of the order or the total amount of the order. Both types of costs are cumulated, meaning that if you do manage delivery charges depending on the weight only then make sure that you have not entered any fee values depending on the amount, otherwise they will be added. You will then need to set your list of shipping price values by entering the limits and the amount of your shipping costs.
For example, suppose you want to apply different shipping charges depending on the total amount like this : free shipping fees for any purchase over $50. And a $10 shipping fees for any purchase lower than $50. To indicate this in TOWeb will need to begin to add your first amount: 10. And then enter tour limit price of 50 before and the amount of 0 (zero) before to click "Add" button. In the end you will get the following result in the table of the shipping limit values :
If the order amount is > 0.01 then shipping amount is = 10.00
If the order amount is > 50.00 then the shipping amount is = 0.00
To update the values of this list, you must select the line, modify your values and click the "Modify" button. It is important not to start with a zero value otherwise management of shipping fees will be considered canceled / non-existent on your site, so if you don't want that, always start with a minimum limit of 0.01 if it is a price or a minimum ceiling of 0.001 if it is a weight.
You may also need to specify the minimum and maximum weight of any order as well as minimum and maximum amount from "Settings > Shopcart & Shipments > Shipping order parameters". |

How to apply different shipping charges per country ? |
There is two ways (described below) you can apply shipping fees by country and they can be combined both together if needed.
Apply a shipping fees depending on weight or amount
When you set a shipment (Settings > Shopcart & Shipments > Shimpents) and its applicable list of shipping fees, you can also set the applicable list of countries by clicking on the Countries... button located in the shipping properties tab. With the e-Commerce edition of TOWeb you can add several shipments and therefore manage different fees per country. Other editions of TOWeb can only manage on shipment.
Apply additional and fixed shipping fees for a country
In the Country management window (accessible from the Settings > e-Commerce screen) you can set an additional fixed shipping fees to any country. |

How to limit sales to only some countries ? |
To reduce the list of countries, you must have the e-Commerce edition of TOWeb and nee to enable the e-Commerce options from the "Settings > e-Commerce" screen. Then click on the button: Country management and check the option: Enable support for different VAT and shipping prices per country before to click on the button: Modify the list of countries.
If you have enabled the support of VAT and shipping prices per country then you can also customize the list of countries for the sale of your site from this screen: Settings > e-Commerce> Order forms fields. |

Why do I see "N/A" on the order page of my site ? |
The values displayed in the shipping column of your order page only concerned fixed fees entered from the catalog item sheet. This means that if, in an item has its "shipping price calculation" set to "fixed price" with a value of $2 for example, then this shipping amount will appear for this product in the shipping column of your order page. But if you do not indicate a "fixed price" but a weight calculation of the shipping prices then a "N/A" (Not Applicable) text will appear since the price will depend only on the total weight of order and won't have any detail for it.
This "N/A" text is a predefined text of your site that you can replace with a character like "-" or leave blank if you wish from: "Start > Languages > Translate TOWeb's predefined texts". Finally if you do not wish to display the shipping column details on your order page to need to uncheck the option: Display the shipping column in the order with shipping price per item accessible from the Settings > Shopcart & shipments > Shipping order parameters.

Shipping prices are greater than expected on my orders, why ? |
Shipping prices entered in TOWeb are all cumulative so check all the different places where you could have entered any shipping amounts :
- in the 'Settings > Shopcart & Shipments > Shipments > Shipping prices" where you may have entered shipping prices depending on the order weight but also depending on the order total amount. If you want to apply price by weight or price based on the total amount you must leave one the grid empty
- in your items' sheet if you have indicated an additional price in the "Price & stock" tab of some of your catalog products
- and any additional delivery charges that you may also indicated by countries from the window "Settings > e-Commerce> Country management"
All these prices are combined so you will need to remove non necessary ones if you do not want them to be added.
