How to customize the banner of my website ? |
Using the banner generator buttons
From the banner customization tab of the "Theme" step select the creation mode Create your banner with TOWeb. Then click on the Add a picture button and with the Picture Browser, select the image located on your computer (you can select several picture at a time if needed) and validate your choice with the OK button when ready.
The banner is regenerated with your new picture and new graphical effects. You may decide to remove any graphical effect by checking this associated option or regenerate another effect for your banner from the buttons : Background, Effects or Texts style.
If you see a result you like you can save it with the button : Add this theme to my favorites in order to be able to get back to it later on. And when satisfy click on Apply changes to your theme button or the cancel button to continue.
Using your own banner (picture, animated GIF or Flash)
If you have an existing banner you can use it in your theme. The different formats supported are standard pictures, animated GIF images and Macromedia Flash animations. To add your own banner select the creation mode Use your own banner picture or animation file and browse to select it. Then :
- if you use a Flash animation you will need to adjust its width and height
- if you use a picture (except if it's an animated GIF) you may split your image in two parts to have it expanded to the total width of your theme. To do this first select the option Split the banner at the position above to enlarge it the page width and move the splitter cursor to obtain desired effect.

How to change the colors of my website ? |
In the Theme Customization step, select the second tab named Frame, Colors & Fonts. From there you can :
- manually select each of the 4 main colors of your theme with a color picker
- let TOWeb generate new random colors for you using the Random! button.

How to modify the fonts ? |
| In the Topic content tab of the Theme step, select the type of fonts you prefer as well as the size and apply the changes to your website. We recommend using standard fonts like for instance Arial, Times, Courier, Verdana or Sans Serif as other fonts may not necessary exist on your visitors' computer and appear differently in their web browser. |

How to use the Favorites ? |
While modifying your theme or searching for a new design, you may like the result you obtain at some points. Each time this happens, you can add these different themes to your Favorites in order to be able to reuse them later.
To restart from a Favorite Theme click on the link "Start a new theme" and activate the tab "Favorites". Select the name of the theme you previously saved from the list (a small preview is displayed aside) and click on the Load button to reuse it. You may decide to continue working on this favorite theme, modify it and save if again to your favorites, apply it to your website or cancel everything to keep the theme you previously had. |

Page footer |
| The « Lauyan TOWeb » page footer is the one used by default in the Free edition of TOWeb. In registered editions you can decide to keep it, change it to your own text or not use any footer at all. The page footer is added to any single web page of your website, and if you want, you can use the predefined script field %TW-DATE% to display the last publication date of your web pages. |
