This page will help you to install (or uninstall) TOWeb. You will also find instructions on how to register your TOWeb version.
Installation file |
The TOWeb's installation file is available for download from the download page of this website.
Download and save this file on your computer to proceed to the installation procedure. You will be asked to read and accept the End User License Agreement (EULA) of the software prior to be able to use it. The installation will copy the program files on your hard drive and will add both a shortcut on your desktop and a submenu in your MS Windows "Start" menu from where you will be able to start TOWeb. |

Free Edition & Upgrades |
| After completion of the installation, you will run TOWeb into the Free Edition mode where you should see the following screen : |

To continue with TOWeb in Free Edition mode, simply click on the "Start" button of this screen
If you want to use all the features of a Personal Edition, Professional Edition or e-Commerce Edition with no limitations, you need to purchase your registration key from either the order page or directly from this TOWeb's screen by clicking on the associated "Buy now" button. Then you will be redirected to our online order form and after proceeding to your payment, you will automatically receive your registration key by email. Registration key |
| After purchasing your TOWeb's Edition, your registration key is delivered to you by email. Below are the explanations on how to install and use your registration key with TOWeb : |

1 - Select your key from the email
From the invoice email you received, select all the characters of the key content with your mouse. Click on the image aside to view an example.

2 - Copy your registration key to the clipboard
Once you have entirely selected your key, make a right click with your mouse on your selection and from the popup menu select the "Copy" option to place the key into the Windows clipboard. Click on the image aside to view an example.

3 - Restart TOWeb
Then start TOWeb (if it's already opened, close it and restart it again). During the initialization your key will be automatically detected and you will be asked to confirm the activation. Click on the image aside to view an example.

After answering YES a new screen will display you license information and you will be able to run TOWeb with the full benefits of the Edition you purchased.
If this is not working : then your key might not have been entirely copied to the clipboard. In that case exit TOWeb and restart this procedure from step 1. |

| Note : To verify your current license and upgrade possibilities, click on the "License" button located on the top left corner of the TOWeb. The version number is also display in this "License" screen. |

Install back procedures |
IMPORTANT !!! : In case of data loss on your hard drive (crash disk, viruses, errors, ...) including the loss of your website, your will need to restore your website from a backup file containing all the necessary information to maintain it and generate it again. Therefore it's important to periodically backup important versions and changes of your website to be able to continue it in such event. If don't have any website backup file previously stored anywhere, you won't be able to restart your website just from the generated web pages published on the internet but will have to create it again.
How to install TOWeb again after a crash disk ?
You first need to install TOWeb again on your machine. To do so, download it from our website and install it using your registration key delivered to you by email (if you have lost your registration key, please contact us at contact@lauyan.com and provide us with your name, address, email address and your invoice number).
Once TOWeb is installed, you need to restore your website from a backup file previously archived on an external media such as second hard drive or CD-ROM. The restore feature is accessible from the link located in the "Start" step of TOWeb.
How to install TOWeb on my new computer ?
If you have a new computer on which you want to transfer your website and continue using TOWeb, please follow these instructions :
- Backup your website from the "Publish" step and save it on any external media such as CD-ROM or a shared drive on which you will also save the email containing your registration key.
- Install TOWeb on your new computer directly from our website and use your registration key
- Then uninstall your TOWeb license from your old computer

Uninstallation |
If you want to uninstall TOWeb you can proceed from the Windows Control Panel in the Add or Remove Programs area or from the TOWeb submenu added to your Windows Start menu in All programs.
IMPORTANT: All the data information of your website (including local backups you may have created) will not be deleted after the uninstallation. If you decide to reinstall TOWeb later you will still be able to reuse the website you have previously created.
But if you want to delete all your website data information as well, then open your folder My Documents and from there delete the entire directory TOWeb sites with all its content. |

Where are the TOWeb's data installed on my computer ? |
| TOWeb files are installed on the Windows "Program Files" directory of your hard drive. All data information related to your website(s) are stored in your folder "My Documents" under the directory "TOWeb Sites". This directory is automatically managed by TOWeb and we don't recommend any manual modification on files or directories located in there as any change may result in the loss of your current website(s). |
