First you need to subscribe to one or several internet advertising agencies that will give you scripts to insert in your site. The best known one is Google Adsense. If you have a Google AdSense account and want to automatically display advertisements on your site to earn revenue from your website traffic, you just need to select the Google Adsense as a ads provider in the TOWeb screen Settings > Advertising. Then enter your Google Adsense ID and your ads will be automatically integrated in all your website pages using the sizes and colors of your website.
If you want to use another ads agency you need to check the Other option and enter the format size and paste the lines of your code script.
Finally if you do not already have an account at an advertising agency but would like to see where and how your ads are rendering on your site, you can select the option "TOWeb Free Edition" as ads provider. The ads are not shown locally during a local preview of your site, but only when you publish it and visit it from internet. However if you wish, you can see the locations that will be occupied by advertisements in the pages of your site at a local summary if you choose Show ads in preview mode. |

Why do I have popup window ads on my web pages ? |
Case #1: You are using a Registered Edition of TOWeb (Personal, Professional or e-Commerce)
If there are any ads they do not come from TOWeb but from a script you probably added in your web pages. Many services like web counter scripts for instance are free but the add advertisements. Try to remove your scripts to verify which one is causing this problem and check with the author of this script how you can avoid such ads or use another one that would be ads free.
And if you don't use any script on your website then these ads are probably added by your host provider.
Case #2: You are using the Free Edition of TOWeb
The web pages created with the Free Edition of TOWeb contain text and image ads related to TOWeb. If you don't want any ads on your website you will need to order a Personal or a Professional or a e-Commerce Edition of TOWeb. |
